That's what I was thinking... Panthers have a lot of talented backs and this might assist them in keeping Staines. We desperately lack speed and every game i watch i feel we just need to make this happen.. The Marketing we could do with him would be worth it alone.

When asked about Harry being 100% back next season, he couldn't say that - mentioned waiting for Cam Smith, and that Harry is more likely than not to be back, but definitely not 100%. Some chance there...

RE JAC, as per info already on the forum - they want something we're not willing to give. If it doesn't get sorted this coming week, it will wait till the end of their finals campaign.


Really not concerned about JAC at this stage.
Another player wanting extra $ when he has not proven himself at a position.
Offer has been on the table but like Mitchell it won;t happen.

He can't take the offer at this point in time as he is signed for next year.

In regards to you arguments the press is not stating its a formality, the Storm want a replacement player before releasing JAC. They say if they don't get it then he will be in Melbourne nest year.

The way the game lifted when Liddell took the field , should be all that needs to be said . If in 3 years it’s NSW vs qld and the 9s are grant and liddle , would you really be that surprised ? If the answer is no , as it is for me , then invested that coin in JAC should be where your hopes need to be directed .

Of course some speed is needed asap ....but if Grant was a Tiger for life the speed will be tripping over itself trying to get here

My only worry is the longer this goes on the more likely it is that another team still him off us he over I’m decently confident he will end up here.
