It's only my opinion, but I think GI (in his pomp) is the best centre I have ever seen. I would argue that he is more than just a "good" player. I would rate him above Meninga, Rogers and Gasnier (Reg), for example.

Gi good player but to inconsistent to rate above mal/ Rogers /gene miles Never seen gasnier

Roberts will apply for a medical retirement, and the nrl will grant it , they seem to get what ever they want .

Would be the worst thing ever for that bloke. Once football is behind him, I think he is really going to struggle...unfortunately.

Go have a lie down, you've earned it.

He certainly gets worked up

I'd only get that worked up if I could seriously provide a credible source

GI to Meninga, Rogers and Gasnier - totally different eras.

However, personally and this is only my opinion.

GI is not fit to lace their boots - those three were just absolutely brilliant.

I’m not a footy trivia master... however I can’t recall a single time in 30 years of watching Rugby League where a winger has changed clubs, changed positions To FULLBACK and also changed that clubs prospects

I would love to see a poll that asked
1. Do you support throwing the cheque book at Ado
2. Do you support gambling and think it’s a part of a healthy life

My hunch is there would be a huge correlation between the two answers

Maybe Roberts could end up the Storm he the type of player Bellamy could do something with

We have a few areas we need to address with Speed and that talented player that can turn a game around with just brilliance... He has both of them in one...

We are offering him TOP winger money but also and opportunity to play fullback and if he does well we will increase his salary.. That to me is a club been very smart because if he is a success we win and if it doesn't work out and he stays winger we win anyway as he is a Top quality winger and should be paid well.

So for me its a Great gamble and hope it happens.

Might be on the money.

James Roberts will be on the move in 2021 and the Melbourne Storm are favoured to win his signature.

That doesn't look very reliable.

Yeah but I take as much credence in you saying as I do the website linked above.

Making the nut ?
Probably as plausible as the daily terror graph ..

People worrying about Souths too much. They have to shed Roberts just so they can hold onto their current squad let alone buy an Australian level player.

To be fair, we only need it to happen once.

I say no need to gamble we can just bring back players like Rankin, and players of that quality they won’t cost much after all that worked in the past

You obviously didn’t see Reg play. They don’t call him the prince of centers for nothing. Your entitled to your opinion of course.

I hear that Packer may also seek a medical retirement .

I saw Gasnier play. Whilst he had plenty of quality round him (Langlands, Raper et al) in that great Dragons outfit he could do things I've never seen anyone else do, including Inglis.
