do we believe that Grant wants to go back to QLD? You'd choose titans over broncos every day of the week right now....

or does his ties to the tigers now play a part and what he knows his role is as the franchise player play a bigger role?? Money won't be a problem....

Surely the titans do not have a lot of room to move under their salary cap. AJ, Taylor, Fifita, Faasuamaleaui, Ese'ese, Peachey, Sami all recently poached or re-signed against competition.

Only from the rumour on here that his manager had spoken to all 3 Qld clubs.
Further to that, yes gold Coast look on the up and the Broncos busted, but there is too much money up there for them to be down too long.

I don't get why someone from southern Queensland would sign for the Cowboys due to being homesick.

I don't know mate. I didn't say he was homesick. Did you read or hear that somewhere? I just think as a place to live Qld is very appealing, especially if that is your home state. I haven't got any knowledge of anything. It's only opinion.

We have money for Grant if needed

Liddle I think this kid just needs a fair crack of luck and will be a good starting 9, but have said this for the last 3yrs. His legs will take a good year to get back to week on week footy at best. He is an impact hooker but to last every week he will struggle for a while.

Grant has that year under his belt, his efforts off the ball is a massive sign of his potential but also a weakness as he will get gassed.

I would do whats needed to keep Grant if it’s an option.

Simpkin is at least 2yrs away, he may come off the bench next year but thats it. He missed a full year this year due to reggies not playing which will slow his development.

What are u basing Simpkin two years away?

I don’t consider GI or Folau as freaks of the game, good players - yes, freaks no.

It's only my opinion, but I think GI (in his pomp) is the best centre I have ever seen. I would argue that he is more than just a "good" player. I would rate him above Meninga, Rogers and Gasnier (Reg), for example.
