Let the clean out begin. Just speculating and some conclusions unconfirmed and without a definite reliable source but here is what I would like to see for next year. If Santa brings just 50% of these toys I’m be happy. So here goes ......

Clearing the decks: My top 10 on 2020 Santa’s Xmas stocking list .....

Santa’s wish 1. Release Moses Mbye with 40% loading (Walters and Holbrook both rate this guy so just a chance?)
Santa’s wish 2. Medical retirement for Russell Packer.
Santa’s wish 3. Josh Reynolds to England Warrington Wolves straight swap for Gareth Widdop.
Santa’s wish 4. Swap Luke Garner for Josh Schuster.
Santa’s wish 5. Billy Walters To Brisbane.
Santa’s wish 6. Release Chee Kam to The Bulldogs.
Santa’s wish 7. Sign Matt Burton..... we should go all out for this guy .... future is as very effective ball playing lock forward).
Santa’s wish 8. Sign Harry Grant to long term contract.
Santa’s wish 9. Sign Charlie Stains from Panthers.
Santa’s wish 10. Sign Aaron Woods on subsidised deal from Cronulla.

I think you miss heard Santa
He didn't say he will pull them out of his sack, He said he will pull them out of his crack

SCHUSTER STILL EYEING MANLY EXIT
Josh Schuster and his management have been assured that prodigal son Kieran Foran will play hooker at Manly next season - but do they believe it?

Schuster, the next big thing at Brookvale, was thinking of asking for a release when Foran signed with the Sea Eagles.

The versatile youngster sees himself as a five-eighth rather than centre or lock.

But he knows that in all likelihood, Foran will play in the halves alongside Daly Cherry-Evans next season, dashing his hopes of wearing the No.6 jumper.

Manly coach Des Hasler has attempted to ease his fears by declaring that Foran will play hooker.

Poor kid. He'll only have a further 15 years to play halves in first grade.

And if Foran is ahead of him, let's be honest, then the most Schuster will miss will be a game or two because Kieran is always injured.

Or he breaks a leg in two years time and will never play again. Footy is a short career with a massive risk, smartest option for him is to find a club where he can play first grade consistently and earn himself more money and I can’t blame him for that.

lol he could just as easily break a leg playing first grade at the club he moves to next year. And if he wants to maximise his earnings then why doesn't he just run straight away to Canterbury? He'll never get money with the Turbos and DCE there at Manly if that's what he wants. It's got nothing to do with Foran if that's the case.

Yeah Exactly he could break his leg anywhere anytime so why play second fiddle and earn less money if you’re ready for first grade and can earn more. It’s got everything to do with Foran because Foran will most likely take his spot in the team

People complained about us signing Tamou. Imagine the meltdown when this is announced lol

Grab the popcorn 😁😂

I mean I understand the reasoning somewhat...apart from Aloiai our props this year were dreadful. Hopefully Tolman is just depth at best though

I reckon madge is recruiting experience since Marshall and Lawrence gone...especially in the engine room where defense will no doubt have to be a massive focus in the off season

Okay food for thought, he averaged 142 meters in 17 appearances this year for a struggling team. I’m sure that beats all of our forwards barring Aloiai

The Sharks Forum have WTs and Sharks attempting to sign young Illawarra prop Kye Rodwell whom is with the Rabbits. He has played U20s for the Kangaroos. He is a very good young forward.

Son of Illawarra legend whose Christian name escapes me... was it Matt? Good centre?

Good player. Wore headgear. Loved the Steelers circa that era, shame they aren't still in the comp.

Tolman would be ok for 1 year, a seasoned pro to lead the way at training etc.
Just like Scott Sattler in '04, doesn't immediately change results but the leadership reaps rewards after they have gone.

That’s how I see it aswell, and with Packer and reynolds still on our books we aren’t going to buy a SOO quality prop just yet.

1-2 years he should be ok

Please no!!! All the bulldog supporters I know are going to laugh at me all off season.

A starting pack Josh, Twal, Tamou, Tolman = moneyball tactics.

It’s a sure fire way to hold the middle issue is we need to hold the edge up as well.
