Time will tell but over the years I think that unfortunately Benji was also wrong fit for Farrah, Brooks, Reynolds, Mbye and our backline defence structure.

100% There is a reason Nofo was so good this year and that was BJ.

? BJ simply was not fit enough coming off injury, limited off season and then Covid. He’s a good player in attack suspect defensively. Need better players around him on the edge defensively than Marshall and Garner.

Well our biggest defensive weaknesses won’t be inside him next year. I think you’ll see an improvement.

To be fair, BJ was gassed and had been out ages leading into the semis.

Our big problem is he came in unfit also last season.

He will either come back slim, fit and keen in 2021 as he wants to convince the club to take up our option for 2022. Or...he will sulk he was dropped last round, cruise all off season and come back fat again. We will know the first day of pre season training.

And I'll continue to do so. He is supposedly a professional footballer being paid a significant amount of money working mum and dads in the many areas of Sydney, Queensland, ACT and Melbourne could only dream about. Stop and think about those families in Melbourne who have lost their businesses and employment due to the lockdown.

Compare that to your mate who couldn't be bothered getting fit or improving his defence. And you aren't shy of sticking the boot into Marshall whom. was a far greater player than Leilua could ever dream of being.
