Dufty would be a poor signing even for 1 year.

Did Dufty regain form around the same time Graham was semi retired?

Dufty is massively overrated and would be almost as bad a defender as Benji.Let him stink up the dragons backline not ours

It's only a few days after Nov 1 but it seems very quite and no noise about.. Normally media has us involved with players but nothing except JAC and we all know how that's going.
We haven't even heard from @THE_POM for a while so assume nothing is happening or his scared to give us info in case the player back flips again on us..
I was hoping to have something this week to get the excitement up about the off season.

Pom posted two weeks ago. That's fairly recent isn't it?

My bad Jonesy. I see your point now. I get the feeling it will be pretty quiet all off-season and that JAC doesn't want to come here if he can avoid it.

I really don't care what the papers say anymore, the amount of opinion they cast off as fact is fit for an internet forum much worse than this.

As good a coach as Ivan was, the recruitment structure at the club was shoddy at the time. I'm much more excited about our direction now and trust the club knows much better than supposed league insiders on TV do.

It looks as though Mbye will start at full back and AD at 5/8. Only pick ups Tamou, Stefano and Mono returning. Centres could be BJ and Mono.
Unless we can Jag some decent signings 2021 is going to be another poor season.

Musgrove will be a de facto new signing too, we didn't get to see much of him this year. Tamou and Stefano together are a great addition to our forwards - experience and leadership from one, youth and aggression from the other.
I think BJ will come back better this year, and I'm looking forward to seeing how Momo goes after his year in Melbourne.

He may be a wild child with a history of social issues, but I think that’s a stretch? very unfair of Rabbitohs not to look after him. Often wonder in cases like this how active or effective the players manager has been?

I would imagine the release as effective 31st October. LOL

Personally, if the only thing holding up the deal is trading a player and it’s make or break then I would very easily trade Talau for JAC.... ofc depending on whether he wants to go.

JAC is a significant upgrade on Talau, a proven NSW and Kangaroo superstar who’s still young in comparison to a rookie who hasn’t really done that much tbh

I would get JAC, then I would look at James Roberts to fill in at centre I feel like a problem our club have had which has cost us finals runs imo is our lack of pace and X factor bringing in both JAC and Roberts would undoubtedly eliminate those weaknesses and instead turn it into our biggest strength

Roberts wouldn’t break the bank at all, would probably be like 450k which isn’t that bad for the quality of player he is and the coaching philosophy Madge brings may bring the best out of Roberts a former SOO player not long ago

Our combination of strength and pace in our backline would be the best in the NRL, with Nofa and Leilua bringing in that strength factor then consider the space they’ll create due to there top class tackle breaking abilities for both Roberts and JAC who thrive off that and would no doubt lead to a lot of points
