Anyone know how long Schuster is signed with Manly, he came out a few weeks back and said if Foran plays 6 he wants out. Surely at some point Foran switches to 6 to save the defensive workload. Schuster would be a great ball playing lock at some pointdown the track

I hope we have had discussions with Chricton if Easts are looking to let him go and get him with subsidy. We lost Rowdy last year, Garner hasn't kicked on and Lucy is the only guy there who walks into our second row. I'd like to see Sammy Mac in at lock. Short on quality in the second row.

funny thing with Garner is that his 2019 season was fantastic and his combo with Brooks was firing

From Garner himself, wasn't happy about being moved to right edge. Benji likes to play late at the line which suits Lucy's game where as Garner prefers early ball or running into a hole (Which Brookes was better at providing).

He did have a conversation with Madge about it.

It did affect his game but if he doesn’t adapt he’ll be gone. It’s a shame it worked out that way but Luc is a better player so he needs to be on his stronger side, just happens to be where Garner plays. Maybe if he’s around for next season he will go better as Benji isn’t there

To be honest I thought Luciano was better on the right, mightve been because of Benji but the defence on that side was just horrendous and needed to be changed.

He was really good on both sides. Dude can play

bloody hell have we signed both of them?! Solomone is a front rower by trade but is apparently quick enough and mobile enough to play in the centres and out the back. he's a huge get. massive for us.

I would love to see Stephen Crichton as our fb if Josh Addo-Carr goes back on his word. Panthers will probably play him at centre for a lot less money. Such a talent!

Under Madge we have really signed some stellar youth. It's going to pay dividends over the next few years.

I feel like we're getting our identity back a little bit. we won a comp in '05 with a very young squad. through the years in 2006-09 even though we weren't making finals, we continued to blood exciting young kids that turned heads of every supporter in the league. guys like Rowdy, TNT, Simon Dwyer, Fifita and even Daine Laurie and Ben Te'o (yes I know how it turned out). under Madge, you get the feeling that's coming back. Simpkin, AJ, Blore, Stefano, Laurie II and Kei are all examples. the Saukuru brothers are an extension of that. while I think with our current squad 2021 won't be a big year for us, the future continues to get brighter.

With the new six again rule I reckon it’s the way to go. youthful, eyes up footy players will always star with the way the game is evolving and the players of yesteryear not so much

Our current squad really didn’t adapt to the new changes and I think it showed, especially towards the end of the year

Would be great if we could actually be competitive in our junior grades and reserve grade, you get all these youngsters playing together for a long time and they all go up to first grade and do the same thing. Look how well it’s worked for Penrith

Signing all these talented kids is a great step in the right direction for that. Gets me excited to see how our 20’s and 18’s will do next season

Always a chance, on very little at Panthers next year & they want to clear space & $$ to retain others

I'm now excited re Daine Laurie.
After watching the video from his Panthers jersey presentation, it looks like he is a real nice bloke with strong family ties for support.
I feel we are on an exciting winner with Daine's signing.
