Yeah I’ll laugh hard if Roberts ends up performing better than both of them in the long run playing for the Wests Tigers!

Spud,Im going to put my head on the chopping block here and say that,if Roberts has his head right and Madge keeps him in check off the field,I dare say JTJ will be a major contributor to us winning more games,especially if he and BJ both have their heads right...the WTs are shaping up pretty well for 2021 and ****Im starting to get excited at watching the young guys progress as wel****l...

The last line in your post is going to be a problem if we are not carefull .. we now have BJ and JTJ playing in centres .. Nofa "if" he stays will hold down one wing .. and we will have players like AJ, TT and WK all vying for that last position .. but we also have to fit Momo's in somewhere .. maybe the second wing spot .. we cant accommodate them all and just watch others clubs come sniffing for those who dont get a run with us this year .. we'll have pretty talent youngsters twiddling their thumbs .. !! I'm worried we are gonna lose a few, unfortunately .. !!

Maybe maths is not my strongest subject, but if WT offered JAC $600K a season with an upgrade to $800K if he played most of his games at FB.
So I’m wondering how the Bulldogs $500K a season over 4 years “blew WT offer away”.

Nothing wrong with your maths mate, but maybe JAC's isn't too strong. Kind of concerning for a bloke who wants to play fullback...

Brooks is the big one .....he isn't at his best and we are cooked

Brooks must know that he has to step up and lead the team around the park...Benji is gone and he NOW has to mentally condition himself to take on the leading role ...he should know his job by now ...

I think i'd rather have Mbye play fullback and wait a year. Can't see any upside to getting Mansour.

I'd much rather play Kepaoa there. Mansour isn't fast and isn't very good. Would be a big mistake. Let Penrith hang on to Laurie for another year, no rush.

If we get Laurie early then happy to take Sauce. Heard he is a very likeable player. Just cause we get Sauce doesn't guarantee him a NRL start spot. We need competition.
Still need a quality Second rower whoever that might be.

But that can't be the end of it .....why again have we out offered on 2 players and missed out ...as Toovs has said we need to investigate this

I think the complete opposite. Why would you investigate this ? What is there to investigate ? It's like trying to investigate why people do stupid stuff every day of the week.

We enter negotiations in good faith with the right types of players. As soon as that good faith passes we need to move on.

We need to be professional and part of that is not catastrophising these types of issues.

We can't assume Brooks is going to be on fire although I'd love to see that. I reckon we need to play AD at 6 because he is someone who can create something.

I have more confidence in AD than Brooks.

Same here. I don't want Mansour at the club. To me he is the wrong type of signing.

I really like Mansour and I honestly wouldn’t mind if we signed him on low coin. I know we really need speed and youth on the flanks and we’re about 3 years too late in signing him now, but I do think he can still bring quite a lot to the team - lots of experience at all levels of the game, enthusiasm, he is a great character and a very positive influence, his relationship with Tamou also and he can still play really well on his day. Injuries are a concern, but he seems to be through the worst of those now. He would be worth a shot as a back up winger on a moderate contract, purely for his positive influence on the team and mentoring for the young guys alone.

Toovs is no rocket scientist,many clubs had offers that wern;t accepted,all this just dumb arses looking for headlines.RE tig skin- those players you mentioned were not signed by the present regime, and maybe thought of as surplus going forward.They are not at this stage top class performers,time will tell.The role of this club is to get 17 top class players,this may not be attainable,but im sure the club is looking beyond 2021,and move on any dead wood.Its what professional organisations do.

Well done Lee on have a comment re JAC and being quoted like that. We have cash, we want the best and we want the right type of players in our club. We are showing clear intent to improve our roster.

Re Mansour if we get him cheap and Laurie comes a year early then I’m for it. The Panthers will pay some frieght for 21.

Based on recent moves it’s clear we won’t pay overs and would be confident Mansour wouldn’t be on overs. With our young kids he also would provide some great experience which we saw this year at the Panthers.

It’s very clear we lack a true winger as well which he eliminates a problem for us. It’s not the Fox but he isn’t terrible and would improve us.

To anyone panicking mansour would block any bodies path is just worried over nothing. Madge has proven time and again that if you are better you’ll get picked. Just means when they get their chance they have to take it. McIntyre example. Seyfarth didn’t but obviously has got another chance contract wise
