I'd be surprised if we chase Smith too heavily. we've got both Liddle and Simpkin ready to be our rotation for the next decade. I know he's close to Madge and all that but it wouldn't make sense for us after how hard we chased Simpkin. warriors and dogs will both throw stupid money at him.

I'll take it a step further. As soon as the Storm get a whiff WTs are interested, Smith"s release would be contingent upon a player swap.

Just posted on the Storm website. They are letting Brandon Smith explore options for 2022. This could be a good move for us? Perhaps hints that the Storm see Harry Grant as the successor to Cam Smith. (and no shock there.... the kid is brilliant)

I’m ruthless.... sign Smith now and let Liddle and Simpkin battle it out for a 2022 contract as well. Smith is an upgrade and if we have the opportunity to upgrade our team we have to take it.

Come on guys we have Liddle and one of the hottest prospects in the game in Simkins,surely you can see better value for the money?WE are weak in the halves and fullback position,as well as a strike back in the event that Jimmy and Leilua don;tcome up to scratch .
