I think if the deal is OK (and I'm sure it will be) then he could be a good asset for us?

Doueihi is our 5/8.

But he isn't here for R1, if somebody, anybody kills it in the position in R11, I doubt they will be replaced next game, just because AD is back.

I like AD, he is pretty handy, they will find him a spot?

Think Brandon Smith would be great for morale and building a positive, tight knit group culture that still thrives in a disciplinarian manner.

However, I would definitely want to give Liddle and even more so Simpkin every chance to excel with us first. Not sure if hooker if our biggest problem (probably halfback and second row) but Brandon is quality on and off the field and seems like the kind of person that people want to play with

Forget about Laurie. They may have had a chance before Naden got pinched for powdering his nose but they'll want all the outside backs they can hang on to.

We need a specialist fullback quality edge second rower who is a very good defender and a lock. We need to get our defence in order to be a top 8 team. There is going to be a huge turnaround in players by the end of season 21 with only a dozen or so on the books for 22 plus.

Josh Reynolds admits he was a dud buy for WTs on Ch9. It must have taken a lot of courage to admit it. He is looking forward to playing for Hull.

The one thing(and most important thing) those Ivan recruits helped the club with, was change. Each were brought over for leadership but prompted us to change this aspect about ourselves.
So while they represent our lowest point they also became the catalyst for the club to evolve/transform or whatever word that best describes it.

They could use him at the arse end of the year if they are heavy with injuries.

Brandon Smith would be good, but it sounds like it's another player swap scenario which makes things painful.

Cam McInnes is a better 9 IMO and less complicated given he's off contract. It really depends on Simpkin's development.

I’m ruthless.... sign Smith now and let Liddle and Simpkin battle it out for a 2022 contract as well. Smith is an upgrade and if we have the opportunity to upgrade our team we have to take it.

Yeah tough one, he would improve team straight away but I think he's almost at his ceiling talent wise (which is still high). I'm a big fan of the cheese, but he's another swiss army knife that doesn't know his best position. The kid is a perfect modern 13, but is willing to shift clubs to play 9, bit of a red flag for me.

I've said it before, I really admire your push for youth and I do agree, but, we need blokes with the toughness, experience and brains to get us up above the magical line we have strove for, for the last the 10 years.
The kids wont be forgotten.
This is the NRL, the toughest game in the world.

I’m tipping Brooksy will shine behind a better forward pack, still would love to see an aggressive second rower next to him, bit like Beau Scott was to Soward.
