AJ had like 4 or 5 games while showed improvement hasn’t totally proven himself.

Mansour has established himself played finals and still got it.

Not much upside to a 30 year old outside back. lots of upside to a 20 year old who’s only played a handful of games.

Two players with most expectations are Momo and AJ. Momo will be captain next year if he stays healthy.

I like AJ but I don't think Momo will be getting more game time than when he was in Melbourne. Slow, small centre with really good fundamentals of playing rugby league. I can't see him having a long career in the NRL but he is a great value for money player in a top team if you don't have talented centres.

Momo is actually quite large (6 ft 3, 90kg). He lost a lot of weight last year due to injury which made him thinner than usual but at full fitness and strength he can look imposing (see trial match v Panthers). Pace wise he’d be average for an NRL centre. Regardless of who starts, I think we’ve got enough depth now at centre to be sweet. He’ll do a good job if called upon.

Momirovski is one of those players if given a little room inside the opponents quarter, he is likely to score. He has the footballing smarts whereas some more highly rated players in the same position won't.

It says nothing at all. He wasn't picked.

He held a starting spot with the storm

He played six games for the Storm. I mean, maybe he is overlooked but he's now been sort of fringey for the Storm and the Roosters so it's hard to argue he's battering down the door.

I tend to think his biggest problem is that he's not wildly quick - not a strike type of player. He knows how to find the line TBF: 14 tries in 19 career games is nothing to sniff at.

Well overall played 19 Nrl games and Won 12 still young at 24.
Agree can sniff out a try and adds value with goal kicking.
His defense however needs to improve at 77% but certainly not the worst in the backs.

Cordner is still around, Madge brought Crichton into first grade so I'd think he'd be in a position to find out. Roosters were previously making noises about exiting Crichton, I reckon that might play on his mind

I would argue that until the back end of the year Tupouniua was outperforming Crichton and will get better..

Maybe so, I don’t altogether disagree and I’d happily have Tupouniua but it’s more about big game experience for me that we need now

I would like to see the club go hard for jaydn Sua,with Souths having to upgrade Latrell,and with Arrow coming next year surely there cap is feeling the pinch,Talakai from Sharks is another talent,these two could be more realistic targets for the club

Sua or Hudson Young would be good.

Wouldn’t want him if he’s not playing Sundays, wouldn’t pay him more than 400K anymore either.

I think our recruitment is fine ..... slowly building and lots on horizon via both what’s coming through the juniors and money in the bank to strengthen positions with quality when they become available, have the right attitude and are at the right price.

On another note I’ve heard rumours that our fake captain isn’t happy a real captain is taking over the role. Don’t know how true that is but wouldn’t surprise me.

I wouldn't be putting the c next to his name yet, I think he needs to settle into his positions 1st. If he doesn't work at 5/8th I'm not sure where we play him.

I think he was hobbled a bit last year and still played really well. Was rock solid under high balls then looked classy at five eighth against Parra. Also played well at centre. He’s an out and out footy player, just needs a bit of class around him, we NEED another quality second rower to take some pressure off him in defence.
