Could u imagine if we did get that young fella from roosters, we could possibly have the best spine in future years if we hang on to player. A spine of j.simpkin that tannins fella volkman and laurie!! If they all stayed fit and continued to get better we would have a Melbourne storm like big 4 imo!! I know the odds of getting volkman or even hanging on to our young blokes is a dream in itself but just imagine how good that would be!!

Doueihi is only a year older than Laurie.
Unless you see him moving into a ball playing lock if he continues to fill out. Otherwise I’d say his a mainstay for years in the 6.

Funny thing about broncos losing Walsh.... us wanting him for Walters would've been a bad deal for them but now they've got an even worse deal losing him and getting no one 😂 should've brought your son back Kevvy!

Walsh was signed for over $1000 000, the Broncos have plenty coming through including Selwyn Cobbo from Wynnum who they pipped the Tigers in signing. The Broncos junior retention is very strong now young Hartigan is full time after moving on from Marsden High.

Yeh I could see him making the shift too a lock over the next few years if he keeps filling out and works hard on his tackling. I think he will only lose more speed over time also and would fit the ball playing lock well not atm though that's for sure

That's the problem though u sit back and wait and see how these kids then out and they get snapped up by the likes of Melbourne or roosters lock him in on a big contract. It's a hard 1 and is impossible to guarantee someone is definitely going to be amazing, but some are worth taking a risk on. Especially when they're youngish and stuck behind a few other players at there clubs

Broncos had apparently offered him the starting fullback spot next year but he left anyway.

Shannon Nevin had played 29 games over 3 seasons at Manly including playing in a Grand Final before signing for Balmain.

As I've said you'll be the one asking why you missed it.

I get the whole players need to prove it over many games and players need to deliver in grade but I'm not someone who rates down every player because a few players fail to make the grade. I find that attitude pretty sad and defeatist.

Ronald Volkmann is an extremely good player in a great system recruited by the best recruitment arm in the game.

He will deliver.

Shannon Nevin had played 29 games over 3 seasons at Manly including playing in a Grand Final before signing for Balmain.

Just goes to show how many manly games I watched. I thought he got called up from reserves had a super star game in the final and got signed off the back of that effort
