Tigers after Brent Naden for this year, likely to play on the wing according to Chammas

Oh boy. No doubt this kid has talent but I really question his head space and whether Madge can bring him in line.

Madge loves a challenge....

He's certainly found one here.

Seyfarth has really impressed me lately. Never gives up on a play does the 1%ers

And tuligali will be over 2nd rower for alot of years he is very very good imo

He's always been a super hard worker. Really has done very well in reserves and will get a game sometime this year probably

Well Naden is good for finding the line or a line

Signing Naden would put the Icing on the cake

I don’t know if I could support such a Bogan.... I’ve always wanted up smack his head in!
Didn’t he fail a drug test on Grand Final night?

That’s a pretty disparaging comment “Bogan” why use that particular word because he comes from a regional area?

What chance the Panthers have pulled the pin on the Burton for napa trade and are now looking at a Naden for Seyfarth,Packer or CheeKham type of trade.

Would make a lot of sense with whats been going on.

Seyfarth would be a good pick up for them.

Is IC asking for a trade? Seyfarth played really well yesterday.

Panthers pulled the Napa for Burton deal that i heard was happening after they had played each other. next minute there are reports about us signing Naden.

Joining dots lol.

They can probably ‘thank’ DWZ for that.

Wasn't too keen on Naden at first, believing he had issues that we didn't really need to deal with on top of all the other issues we have.

On reflection, I guess if we got him at the right price the risks may very well be worth it, once again, only if he came at the right price.

Then something came to me, and that being that one of the reasons Naden is not playing first grade can be attributed to Penrith signing Paul Momorovski.

Now I've always rated Momo but many on this forum have never really appreciated Momo's smarts or the contributions he has made to this team, some of those contributions being while he wasn't even playing for us.

Think about it.

Thanks to Momo, we get Harry Grant in 2020.

Thanks to Momo, we get Daine Laurie for 2021.

If we get Brent Naden, then Momo has one way or another made a contribution towards that.

I would go so far as to say that Momo has been one of the most valuable players we have had, even when he wasn't playing for us.

With rumours abound about Naden being chased by the WTs and the character assassination by WTForum members eg; his issues off field and arrogance on it I did a little research and found this interview which paints him in a completely different light. After watching this I’d be more then happy if WTHQ snapped him up.

I gave up on the is he a good guy thing about the same time we stopped playing finals football.

There's a large faction of our fan base who have a very different mentality.

Ive been saying forever and a day we need more ego and pure talent in the squad rather than nice guys who are happy to finish 9th.

There should be no issues when they are registered to play nrl and the fact that they are not amateur but professional players,
Except,
It is always in the best interest of the employer to ascertain what a proposed players true character is and whether or not this player would have a bad influence in the place. The employer would try to avoid and not want bad culture to creep in to the place. (this is not implying that the named player maybe bad influence)

A lot of work has been put in to clean up the place by the club and they want to make sure it stays that way and keep improving.

Surely tuki offers more on bench then any player on the current bench does baring Stefano

I would give tuki a go on the bench
If he can do what Stefano has done in his short time with us then our bench would be one of the strongest in the comp
I was a little disappointed with Musgrove on the weekend but 1st game back so will give a little leniency
Ofahengaue also needs to produce more meters
Musgrove needs more tackles
Our team needs to share the load of work to be more efficient and effective

On the weekend
D. Klemmer 197 meters 37 tackles
D. Saifiti 162 meters 27tackles

2 man Total 359 meters 64 tackles

J. Tamou 76meters 26 tackles
Z. Musgrove 97meters 8 tackles
J. Ofahengaue 59meters 20 tackles
T. Mikaele 32meters 14 tackles

Our 4 man total 264 meters 68 tackles
I would expect more from our big 4

I know I left Stefano out who was our best but he is also our most inexperienced

All those Penrith boys play with swagger and ego but they love the club and would die for them, that's what we need. We've got fellas who love the club but I want some carry on out there, bit of swagger bit of niggle getting under the oppositions skin, we don't have anyone who does it right now ?

Naden is a lippy knucklehead, but we have Jim and Daine here now so there'll be an indigenous circle for support. If it came to trading Naden for MCK or Packer I'd endorse it in a heartbeat.

With panthers injuries probably focusing on backs now their forwards never go down

Cheers.
I thought we'd had Klemmer contained quite good and struggled more with Saifiti - as he tends to offload and we were clearly trying more to stop that when tackling him.
Surprised with Twal's stats and must say I've noticed a bit of onfield leadership from him of late.
Good metres from Luciano but have been worried a little about him, as besides the defensive issues (which I believe can be sorted going off Garner's turnaround) notice he's being heavily targeted in games and not sure if his confidence is a bit down. Can't wait to see him back to his best, as I love the energy he brings to the team.

Warriors I notice have a few players leading with [PCM](https://www.nrl.com/stats/players/?competition=111&season=2021&stat=1000112) with Twal in the Top 50. We're coming 13th and 15th however with PCM and run metres collectively as a team, which is a little disappointing considering we've now got some [size](https://www.nrl.com/news/2021/01/11/super-sized-warriors-revive-2002-strategy-with-nrls-heaviest-squad/).
