Yes , they all started somewhere.
But based on performances , not fantasy , he hasn't shown anything to indicate a Cameron Smith like future is ahead of him.

4 runs for 23 metres, 7 missed tackles, poor options, letting a try in and 2 infringements isn't a stellar start.

I might as well say Gebbie will be the greatest back since Mal Meninga. There's just as much evidence to support it.

Now why did you have to go and do that? ?
TBF there was nothing wrong with Brooks or the state of team, at that time.

Brooks would be an outstanding player under Sheens. Look at how Sheens utilised Robert Lui. He was on the cusp of SOO selection he had him playing so well. It is so frustrating as Brooks is being wasted.

He was good. He didn't "carve it up" by any means.

He scored dummy half tries in a comp. where that is far easier than the NRL.

I'm not death riding the kid but the talk about him playing Origin is just ignorant and ridiculous.

Let's hope he can lift his game now that all the eggs are in his basket.

He was excellent in reserve grade and he did well in the Souths game. Of course he will struggle in a game we get flogged but 40 points, he's a 19 year old kid. Silly to call him the next anyone but he's got talent and he's one for the future.

As for Liddle he will probably leave but happy to keep him as a bench option or depth. It'a inevitable that Simpkin will get injured at some point

clubs have been talking about simpkin for awhile if you think Liddke is better good on you, liddle has had 5 years and 49 games

There is no reason why we cannot have two hookers of quality in the squad. Liddle is a loyal and fine player for WTs. I want him at WTs.

He's nobody's second fiddle.

Simpkin may play origin for Qld one day Liddle sure as eggs will not ever play origin

Simpkin has played 2 NRL games .
6/10 performance against Souths followed by 4/10 against Manly.
Any suggestions of Origin are pure fantasy at this stage.

Liddle has played 49 games in 5 years
hard to believe Cameron Smith played 2 games once, so did Thurston and tedesco etc.
We were lucky to get under broncos guard with simpkin we have made the right move

Yes , they all started somewhere.
But based on performances , not fantasy , he hasn't shown anything to indicate a Cameron Smith like future is ahead of him.

4 runs for 23 metres, 7 missed tackles, poor options, letting a try in and 2 infringements isn't a stellar start.

I might as well say Gebbie will be the greatest back since Mal Meninga. There's just as much evidence to support it.

As for simpkin the souths game went golden point he was excellent in that game

Also if Liddle was that good why has he not be signed by us or another club? He has been able to talk to others for like 6 months now. Simpkin is the future and glad we are looking at locking him up now before other clubs come calling.

injury prone would be why teams are gunshy for Liddle
