Personally Iam with Sticky when it comes to Joseph. He is a top notch player that delivers the goods once a month. On his day he is brilliant but there are plenty of days when he goes through the motions

The more marquee players they sign, the more they will get because they will all want to play together with the chance of winning a premiership. That said they still need some decent forwards and a half who can control a game. Be interesting to see how fast they can pick themselves up from the scrap heap of the past 2 seasons.

If Burton backflips, the others might follow.

Cotric hasn’t made much of difference. If Burton and Smith join they’ll have huge expectations on big money.

I don’t see them suddenly improving massively. Look at Titans. I think they were 9th last year, they’ve signed the best forward in the game and another Origin forward and they’re currently 8th.

He was one of the best forwards to ever play but also thug that just wants to injure people.
I would also be concerned about the effect a selfish, arrogant, drug enthusiast may have on a young team.

The more marque players surely NRL HQ has to be very suspicious of their salary cap compliance and third party agreements. If this is an intentional tactic to get success quickly and be damned with the cap, the Dogs should be kicked out of comp for a year.

I know the burgi Signing isn't happening, but it would be the best thing for us.
That's the forwards I want. Belt the stuffing out of the opposition, don't care if it's dirty or clean. Make every team check the calendar, dreading to play us. No more pushovers or plodders.
