Still waiting to see what 2 players they are going to sign for the rest of the year?

It’s not as if we are travelling that well to wait for deadlines.

I understand that but I’m still of the opinion that we shouldn’t as our roster isn’t great. We haven’t been able to grab a marquee signing and we’re just hoping one falls in our lap. It’s reactive.

We have been far from reactive with recruitment in the last 12 months, you would be the 1st to bag the club if a superstar was released and we missed out because we didn't have a spare roster position.

That wouldn’t be the reason we’d miss out.

We are looking at some players stuck behind others at other clubs and a few targeted players but the most likely outcome is upgrading some lower tier players and freeing up money for next year.

He would be an upgrade on the wing here but I doubt he would want to play wing. This year has been his best year in the centres.

Keep Joey for one more year, get him super fit because at the moment it looks like he’s struggling with it - 300K contract only, he can go if someone offers him more.

Laurie? Stefano (although I concede more unproven than most - was still worthwhile), Musgrove early on looked like a hardman. Has dropped off quite inauspiciously!

Doueihi is great. Joey offered more than we had at the time although was always an up-hill battle long term. Possibly the only one we got wrong and juniors like Tuilagi, Simpkins, Simpkin and Fitzgibbon were all astute.

I agree. I reckon if he came here he wouldn't do anything wrong but he also wouldn't do anything right. I can't recall ever hearing him being described as a leader either.

Take a look at Jacob Arthur today, made the most of his debut.

You still gotta pick the right guys. Austin went ok for us, Taupau is and always has been hot and cold, Addo Carr we should have kept and naiqama was perfect for WT he can’t tackle.

Kev could actually tackle. He just couldnt get close enough to anyone to do it.
