NRL360 reporting we are chasing Pangai Jr and Jamayne Isaako for next year, with Brisbane struggling and having cap issues it could happen. Pangai JR would be a very interesting signing, certainly brings some attacking flair but can be real lazy sometimes as well and has some off field issues

The Wests Tigers have been sprung on a hit and run recruitment mission to Brisbane with the club chasing Broncos stars Tevita Pangai Jnr and Jamayne Isaako.

Tigers coach Michael Maguire, CEO Justin Pascoe and head of recruitment Adam Hartigan were all spied boarding a flight from Sydney to Brisbane on Wednesday morning.

Fox League’s NRL 360 has confirmed the Tigers trio are targeting the Brisbane Broncos duo as the Red Hill outfit attempt to fix an out-of-shape roster.

Pangai Jnr worries me, reminds me of the type of player we spend good coin on but comes and plays terrible in our jersey.

Pangai Junior suits the tigers, has moments of brilliance but inconsistent.... admittedly he's been pretty good this year and fills a gap in our roster.

I like isaako on the wing. Takes away from his weaknesses and lets him use his excellent running game.

Issako and TPJ both hit and miss type players. I'm a little shocked by the interest to be honest.

Pangai would be a huge get. If you’ve watched him this year I feel as if he’s really turned a new leaf in his discipline, shown massively in his game up against Fifita and Gold Coast. Had him backtracking in attack and defence. Future origin second rower if he keeps it up.

Isaako has been good this year. Real good footwork decent pace and can score a try. Given we have no wingers we could use him for sure

All for Issaco provides the x factor that we have been expecting from jtj but know we will get with this excitment machine,Pangi jr only if the price is right otherwise I have faith in the young forwards we have comming thru

Isaako can definitely do a job, reminds me of Simona.

We had Pangais brother Moses at the club briefly but he's been at a few clubs.

It'd be amazing if we could jag those two.
Hopefully Joe puts in a good word.

Both are contracted for 2022, so they’d need a release. The fact they are both contracted tells me this has legs.

A forward with aggression and who has done some good things this year

And a winger who has some pace and can step
Can kick goals even if back up to Doueihi
I think Isaako can still improve and believe he will
