Don't really see the point of keeping Chee-Kam. He's not going to get any better, we've seen his best and we should be focusing on re-signing Mikaele and Seyfarth over himHe just takes the spot of someone else we should sign that has potential and a long term NRL future

Chee ain't a bad player and he's a good bloke but if we are already trying to keep him that means we don't have many other viable signing targets I reckon...

Yeah agree … that would be a backward step.

How Pascoe escapes almost any scrutiny is just amazing.

Big 4, Ivan fiasco, Farah debacle and suspension, 2017 robust processes to avoid salary cap trouble, players/coaches walking out yearly etc.

I'd love us to poach someone high up at one of the Storm or the Roosters. We probably wouldn't get the CEO but maybe a football manager.

The only reason for keeping Chee Kam is for culture and squad continuity purposes.

I see what you're saying, two sides to the coin though.

We're not breaking the bank for him and he is a good squad/depth player.

We missed out on Atoni who wouldve been an upgrade, but we're not relying on MCK to win us a comp.....

There's a bigger picture plan here and it's not to win the comp now or next year but put us in a place where we are successful long term. Dark days ahead though but is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Grant offers more than almost any hooker, Smith is still an excellent player worth throwing money at.

It would be outrageous for WT to even consider giving MCK a contract. Our squad is simply not good enough to compete at teh NRL level. Hence, we have to improve our squad in order to compete more. Other clubs are improving, currently we're stalling.

MCK is a very average second rower, and an appalling centre. He's not a versatile utility he's a waste of space. If he's not up to NRL standard in either position he plays then he doesn't get a contract. Garner is already under contract and can fill MCKs role as a useless player filling in squad spot 29.

I don't care how good a bloke he is. This is business, and he's a bad contract. Every single player we sign or re-sign needs to be able to add immediate value for next season. He simply doesn't add any value whatsoever and should be a very simple decision for any remotely competent administration.

Give him a nsw cup contract if he'd like to keep playing for the Magpies, that's fine. But really he should head to England as maybe he'll be able to get a gig over there.

The big word about Harry is POTENTIAL but before he can even be considered a 1 mil player DURABILITY from him needs to be shown here missed a few games with WT'S because of injury and also a few games for Storm this year you don't want to pay a million for a player until he can string a few games together
