MCK has a better attitude than Nofo and Mbye.

Always tries when he gets a chance.
A lot like Daniela, Naiqama...
A real footballer.

Might not be the best player but at least he has a dig.

Daniela was a legend. that hattrick he scored against the Warriors that night was all class.

While the Storm have not discussed terms, Smith’s desire to play as a starting NRL hooker may force him to leave Melbourne, even though he is currently wearing the No.9 jumper with Grant coming off the bench.
“That is part of the problem,” Martin said.
“And that is the reason we put him on the market originally. We don’t know how they are going to play him at Melbourne and that is fair enough because they have Harry Grant.”

Such a smart bloody club.

It’s an each way bet for them.

There first offer is higher than usual, probably higher that they paid Finucane last year but it’s still manageable if they decide to keep him sure he is probably worth that, but that is not ‘unders’ at Melbourne. He has been offered a fair rate knowing full well they won’t have the capacity to play him at Dummy half and want to use him at lock.

What this does do however Is starts the bidding at that price point for all the other clubs.
Roosters won’t be picking him up for any less than $600k and then the building clubs, Bulldogs, Titans, us would be expected to pay upwards of $900k just to get a look in.

Well played Melbourne!

Nobody was getting him for any less than $600K anyway...

Not at haircuts and playing xbox

Of course we should offer a million at Harry Grant or Smith. We need someone of that calibre badly. Or we can sign some mediocre player for 650k and pretend we are being smart, and have a team full of decent players but no stars, like now. We have to offer more money than good clubs to get good players. Thats what happens when you are a bottom team that doesn't make finals.

Don't really see the point of keeping Chee-Kam. He's not going to get any better, we've seen his best and we should be focusing on re-signing Mikaele and Seyfarth over himHe just takes the spot of someone else we should sign that has potential and a long term NRL future

Chee ain't a bad player and he's a good bloke but if we are already trying to keep him that means we don't have many other viable signing targets I reckon...

Would like to see him go to a nice team

We are a nice team ?

I like MCK, Reliable

He’s reliably poor in every position.

He was good against warriors..
Was easily in our top 3,2,1
I very club needs low budget handy men ..

he'll be 30 by the start of next season. I'd rather give his spot to a young bloke

What is the point of playing money ball with the roster and getting young players with potential if you can’t strike out and sign a marquee player like Smith. Especially in a spine position where we definitely haven’t settled on a long term player

when

I like the sound of that.

Tell me more about this Brooks Broncos talk?

I don't know if that's true...

I read they're shopping Croft to England.

Croft and Brooks are very similar players in my opinion.

Think they like Staggs to partner Reynolds in the halves. Personally not a fan of this....

Brooks is a far better player than Croft Brooks can tackle

Tired of all the people claiming Brooks is so wonderful in defence.
The odd good tackle doesn’t make him great.
The last few weeks especially he’s missed some important tackles.
For the record Croft has better tackle efficiency stats as do noted poor defensive halves like Cherry-Evans and Reynolds.
Even our much maligned Lucy has a better tackle efficiency.

I’m sorry but for the record Brooks’ tackle efficiency is significantly higher than Croft. According to official NRL app, Brooks tackle efficiency is 82.8%, well above Brody Croft at 73.1. Reynolds and DCE do have better stats at 85% and 88% respectively.

Sorry, but you have been looking at last year … go to nrl.com and make sure you look at the correct year. Croft over 88% and Brooks just over 86%. Not much … but better.

Actually I just had a look at the app and it also says season 2021. It reports the same number of tackles made but a different tackle efficiency rate depending on whether you look at the app or the website. One of them has to be wrong. Having watched Croft this year my guess is that the app is accurate.

Who ?

Chee-Kam is the Ultimate all time greatest Immortal 18th man in the history of Rugbeh Leegue...
I dare anyone to name a better one..

Takes more than 17 players to make a Club

Looking forward to the big announcement that the club has extended MCK & bringing back Woods and Sironen..
Cherry on top they might even update the club members and fans about the upgrade for the 30th player for this year..

Regardless. They know how to not only work their own cap but make it difficult for others to work theirs.

Smith is the perfect player to offer overs to, Harry Grant would be another.
