We signed Maumalo and Laurie for next year. Just got them a year early.

So what? We are a club that isn’t very attractive because we have spent so much time near the bottom. That won’t change overnight.

these names have been in and around the media as well as rumoured on here. I would assume none are top 30, but they do classify as junior talent.

moving in-house, we've apparently offered Jordan Hill a development contract and we're negotiating a new deal for Israel Ogden, both of which are important players in our backline moving forward. we saw a massive turnover in our junior grades last year, I assume Hartigan is doing plenty of work behind the scenes to do the same for next year.

I actually think Madge and co are playing the waiting game for recruitment but are concentrating on extending and dealing with our great young talent....remember Madge wants to build from within so we have a long and prosperous future...I can see his methodology and it CAN succeed given time...

Waiting for what? We have a lot of spots to fill and the sooner we start filling spots the better. They should already have an idea of who they want to sign and be targeting them. We have a bad habit of leaving it too long and having no choice but to fill our final roster spots with nobodies

No player wants to come and play for Madge, we have no choice but to work from within, we need some half decent players to mix with the young blokes, not sure where we are getting them from though

NRL recruitment is a huge component of the Coach's role. I would expect our coach to be able to make the difference in obtaining the signatures of big name players. I do not believe that to be an unreasonable expectation.

Hastings was the man of steel and has killed it over there.

I agree with you that we aren't getting players easily. I think it comes down to money and I'm okay with it on that basis.

We do have to get some players but I think we can field a decent team next year without any more signings. Hopefully we get some more though.

I feel at the moment we're struggling to sign quality players between the ages of 20-30. Outside of that we're doing well.

I agree with you. You have this right. The problem is it's not black and white. How much did we offer and how much should we have offered.

We are cleaning up our cap. Let's wait and see what develops over the next couple of years.
