I would give Elliot a go under some conditions.
No Drinking as this clearly seem to be the start of any issues and 2 years with 2nd year CO. That way he can prove himself and we have a get out if it goes wrong. He is a very good player and only 26 years old.

No players that banged ex team mates wives. Lowest act you can do. I have zero issue with the toilet action.

True. Doesn’t say much about the girl though either right.

Why is a married lady hanging out in the back shed with her husbands best mate while her husband is asleep at 4am in the morning?

They were doing laundry together.

Who doesn’t at 4am??

He should done a load by hand and stayed out of strife.

That’s exactly what he did do

Maybe she was doing his load for him.

I always though it took two to tango , but as usual he cops all the heat and she walks away with out a scratch. This not to say that he’s not a goose ,

What is the difference between Elliott's actions and Paul Vaughan's? I would argue that Vaughan deliberately put the game into disrepute. Guess where Vaughan is playing next year.... Adam Elliott may have made some poor decisions but he doesnt do it deliberately. He has a drinking problem which a good club lile the Rorters would definately resolve. If we want to have leadership at this club we might look at this and say it smells of salary cap m'ment, we might be able to help him if he signed with us. He actually might suit Madge's coaching style. If Madge survives. Any word onnthat? Would also add Simms should get a look from us as shpuld jn jn pearce. Leadership factor resolved possibly witg those signings... possibly. Blends youth and snr players in our team. For what its worth. I imagine the merry go round continues at our club and we might start all over again

To get to a point where you are in intimate situations with young women when you have a wife/partner and child, involves a number of decisions. Being allegedly intoxicated is no excuse. I feel for his wife/partner and child.

Elliot is a goose. He's been front and centre of anything controversial with the Bulldogs for years.

I'm not one of these people that thinks we shouldn't sign a player because their behaviour is beneath our lofty standards, but if we are going to sign a goose, lets at least make it somebody who will be worth the grief.

Maybe, but atm, we are a bottom 4 team with not a lot of options?

Elliott and Sims both make our team a better one.

Sims does. You don’t watch many dogs games I guess. He can’t defend and makes bad decisions and errors. Blore, Luciano are miles better even Garner is better. We don’t need him and he’s over rated badly.

Well apart from signing players from other bottom 4 teams they don’t want..it seems

He moved to the NT to be with his wife/partner and child when Covid first became an issue in NSW. There was a story on tv about him. He is intelligent and well spoken. I hope he finds a new club as he has something to offer.

No to Elliot ... may as well buy Duggan if we want to head down that path... surely we are learning something about character

Because he made out with a gorgeous women in a toilet or because he got naked at mad monday piss up ? He is almost a saint in nrl terms.

He also does a tremendous amount for charity.

Bit silly on the drink but then so am i

There was another incident which would not be highly regarded by any prospective team mate.

The single guys mightn't need to worry. Seriously though that was probably his worst indiscretion. The mad monday antic and the bonk in the toilet with a single woman are hardly earth shattering. The guy has a serious problem when he is on the booze but has acknowledged that. Wouldn't say no at a reduced price with strict clauses around behaviour.

What do people think of Adam Elliott. Obviously he would need to stay off the drink or learn how to handle it but he wouldnt be Robinson Crusoe their

Adam Elliot is decent imo.
I know everyone hates him and his team sucks.
He could do a lot for us though.

Very Bellamy like signing and I hope we are the question.

I’m not his biggest fan, but he does play with heart and we need to find some players next year with decent first grade experience who don’t turn it up when things don’t go their way.

If our club could get him to rise to the occasion on the field as much as he does off it we'd be on a winner for sure.

True. Doesn’t say much about the girl though either right.

He wasn helping her look for the Hose.

We've taken in enough charity cases with poor return. A big no to Elliot, he's got no smarts on the football field or off it.

Elliott has helped the dogs to be firmly anchored to the bottom of the competition and he has behavior issues as well.

Elliot is no real stand out in the wooden spoon team...hes an average NRL back rower and I expect Seyfarth and Garner to get at least there in 2022 ,who are similiar types and size..
So the risks aint worth the rewards for Elliot

I can see positives in recruiting someone like Elliott, but I don't think he is an improvement on what we already have. Sims definitely would improve the team, even with his age he would be good recruit for us. Walker is a tough one, definitely improves the team but his off-field issues are very concerning. He definitely wouldn't come here if Madge is still the coach though so may not have to worry about it.
