For those who want to have an inside listen into how our club deals with signings. Adrian Tripodina is a business man who was dealing with out club during the big 4 stuff up and lifts the lid on just how poor our head of office actually is.

Honestly a fantastic listen and will leave you gobsmacked.

Bloody big noting rubbish.

Have to agree with you there. Like what he was saying hasn't been said by hundreds of other fans before....It was like listening to a summary of the forum.

Didn’t this all happen years ago, maybe we might of changed ?

If we look at him he should be our 14. Very similar to Watson I feel and could easily become a ball playing 13 as his kicking game is weak

Adrian is a charismatic speaker and obviously good at what he does for a crust.

Doesn't hurt at all that his Dad is loaded and that his Dad developed the business that got them loaded.

It's like all the management at the Tigers have watched Moneyball to many times some times you have got to splash the cash

The Wests Tigers could reportedly part ways with second-rower Luke Garner this off-season which could free up money to chase unwanted Dragons star Tariq Sims.

Brent Read reported on Triple M that the Tigers could look to offload Garner before next season, while the club has also been linked with a play for the Blues Origin enforcer.

“There has been some talk around Luke Garner for a couple of years now and he was linked with Manly last year,” Read said on Triple M.

“There has been a bit of a freeze on player movement at the Tigers while they resolve the coaching situation, but Luke Garner’s name has appeared on the radar of some other NRL clubs.

“My sense is he may leave over the off-season and it depends on which club is interested. Manly is a club that has been linked with previously.

“At the moment Manly don’t have the room to fit him in but if Marty Taupau happens to go and Marty has been given permission to explore his options on the open market then maybe that brings Manly into play.

“They have a relationship with Luke Garner. He played under-20s with Tom Trbojevic so he is good friends with Trbojevic and I believe he still lives on the Northern Beaches.

“That is one to watch and it will hinge on the coaching situation at the Tigers and also what happens with Marty Taupau and if he finds another club and if he decides to move in the off-season.”

Read also believes Garner’s potential defection could free up space for the Tigers to chase Sims or former Bulldogs back-rower Adam Elliott.

“I wonder if it also has implications for either Tariq Sims or Adam Elliott,” Read said.

“The Tigers have been linked with both those guys. If they are willing to let Luke Garner go that would suggest that perhaps they think that one of those guys is going to arrive.

“So maybe that is a hint for a potential destination for Sims or Elliott.”

Free up money, how much are we offering Sims if we need to free up money.

Exactly, I though Read was one of the more on the ball journos. If we have $1.5m to $2.0m to spend now we don't need to get rid of Garner to get Sims or Elliott or both if we choose. Personally I'd get rid of Garner anyway but only because I don't see him as NRL standard in our setup.

Sell Garner and we'll be left with 1.9M, to buy Sims worth 4.4 Mill over 4 years.

Sims is on 650k atm so I figure he would be looking at a number close to that but I think dragons would be kicking in some cash to get him out the door

If 650k is an accurate figure he would be getting 220k too much imo.He is not that good

I wish Wests tigers would a decision on what players they are going to lose and which they will keep. All this conjecture and insecurity is not doing the club any good at all.

What do you mean what players they will keep? They made that clear in the press release last week when they farewelled 5 players.
