Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

If no one else is available for this year why not
With Packer Matalino Holman Sue in the front and add Taylor Aloiai Huth and Twal in the backrow no one would mess with us
We could try to offload Grant and Chee Kam then Sue next year
Just a thought

That's interesting about Coote, is he retiring or going elsewhere? He's a really good, instinctive fullback. I wouldn't mind him here.

Ive heard Green is looking at Te Marie Martin as his replacement.

Makes sense to me, Coote is about done and Martin is the future.

I suppose, still think Coote has a lot to offer though. He's only 27/28 and he was one of the Cowboys best last season.

I've since found out that he is playing on and looking for offers elsewhere. He's an out and out fullback, but can also cover 5/8\. His positional play is better than Tedesco's AND he can kick field goals - come on Tigers, snap him up!

Like GNR said we would rather RTS, Coote will end up at the Penrith reunion on the Gold Coast

Naturally I would rather RTS also, but I never hold my breath on us signing marquee players, or else I'd be dead several times over! In any case, I think RTS will end up playing Union and Coote would be a good acquisition for 2019 if Tui doesn't work out, imo. You're right tho he will probably end up at the Titans - it's hard to get players back from QLD once they're entrenched up there.

I wouldn't say no to Tolman if the price was right.
Honest no frills prop…..

At least he doesn't back into the defence......unlike someone else we know.

Doesn't make anywhere near the metres of someone else we know either. Tolman is one of the most ineffective props in the game. No thanks, would rather keep Grant.

No. But it would be good for a club who needs a front rower to take him, and then need to offload an outside back or 2nd rower to relieve cap pressure.

100% miss though 😂😂

Can say what you want about me personally and happy tiger you have zero idea about the reasons I left wests Tigers for the cowboys. Don't appreciate insinuations like that. I just drop the info on here as I get it. I can't be held responsible for people's over reactions to that. I haven't worked at WT for years. But it is and always will be my favourite club. I have zero bad intentions with what I post on here. Am always attacked by the same group of people no matter what I post. Is what it is.

For what it’s worth are we getting RTS or Barba?

SALARY CAP DRAMAS NOT OVER FOR THE BULLDOGS

It might be a new regime but it's still the same old salary cap problems at the Bulldogs.

We've been told the Dogs footy department is desperate to alleviate a ton of salary cap pressure before the season begins and the player's name we're hearing is Aiden Tolman.

Tolman is on a huge deal through until 2020\.

He has been the cornerstone of the Dogs pack since joining from the Storm in 2011, but the Canterbury hierarchy would be willing to let the prop-forward go should a rival club come knocking.

At least two Sydney clubs are watching this space intently.

What do you think guys

No to Tolman given our Front row stocks but a big YES to Raymond Fatalilililia-Seman if they want to shed a forward is what I think..

I am always interested to hear the mail we get from Smoking Gun and POM. It is clear that they have some inside info which is a nice change. I understand that not all their info is going to come true….things change quickly...

Who did we sign…?

Or who are we going to sign. I have no inside information at all however I heard Ben Simmons was thinking of becoming a rangy ball playing second row forward for us.

It could work. Get him on the juice and we might have a 6 foot 10 150 kg ball playing skillful backrower.

He throws too many forward passes.

No to Tolman, what the hell are the Bulldogs doing buying Suli and other players when they still have cap problems.
I’m glad that Woods went to a well managed club.

We have Matulino,Packer and Twal. Sue,Jj felise and grant for back up. Eisenhuth could play there but i prefer him at lock.

no to tolman.

i like Tolman, solid man in the middle plays good minutes, hes not wrecking ball but value for money at the right price, Im not sure about Raymond Fatablablah but if there looking to shed coin id say hes not on the chopping block.
but i do agree with the comments before mine that our foward pack this year is pretty good and it would only be a depth buy if we got him.

I wish Bryce cartwright stsyed at panthers so we could make a play for villame kikau. He killed it at world cup and nsw cup last year.

Is Tolman an upgrade to one of our existing forwards
I think we all know the answer to that
Would rather him in our side then Chee Kam Grant or even Sue for that matter

He would also likely be an upgrade in salary to most of these.

Journeyman Sao biscuit past his best buy date …but priced as a Tim Tam.
Twal at least as good rite now at a scotch finger price, with upside...plus weve got plenty of "experience"in front row already
