would roll the dice with Curtis Scott and Roberts
Sign Tariq Sims if you can for 650k
Sign Peachey
Sign Woods

Sims - Yes,

Scott - Unsure

Peachey - To expensive for a utility style player (been there, hurt real bad)

Woods - Note even for $1 on principle

Woods will assist the club sign him better than what we have

Woods is not the type of player we need

Hopefully the mole is right this time and he's off to manly

I think he is still playing ok football, we just need high impact players.

so Paulo perhaps the number one target for us to partner Stef

He would be if it was my decision.

Id say one or two of our 2023 recruits are not even off contract. There will be plenty of moving around once the GF is over.

We need to hold our nerve and not fill all our spots.

I also see the chance of moving on a few of our own players and some deals that may create.

Believe he is off contract but I’d say he’s likely to take Gagais spot ? If that were the case I feel he would’ve resigned already

WT + Sharks in for burns on multi year deal according to news ltd a few weeks back

I'd take Burns over Scott anyday. he has had his issues with injuries in the past but he's only 25.

Not sure why all the dislike amongst Souths fans however a heap of my mates who follow the Bunnies can't wait to get rid of Burns. He'd still prob walk into our 17.

I think we only have 4 spots left, and they'll likely keep a rainy day spot open. I'd hope we're going to promote at least one of our Flegg stars to a top 30 contract or at least development spot.

You never know a few more spots might open up yet ?I do not think the saga is over just yet !

The only signings left for next year are other clubs scraps. There's not one player on the market I'd be happy to sign

Curtis Scott, Tariq Sims, Adam Elliot, James Roberts, Tyrone peachey, Ash Taylor... what an awful list of potential recruits 😂

2023 there's heaps of good players available. Gonna be difficult to sign anyone with uncertainty around the coach whenever we lose a game from now on.

Can only hope. Don't want to pay anyone outside of Brooks (and only up to 200k) to play elsewhere though.

Avoid at all costs Woods and Elliott

Thank you.........STOP bringing up Sharron.......... opportunity to be a respected clubman has long gone DONT need more retirement villages

I listened to Phil Gould and he commented at the right price he would be a good buy. With all those posts suggesting we lack leadership, well here is our chance to get some. Sheens would know better than anyone what value he could bring to our club.

Phil Gould is very biased, always has been, and everything he says suits his own personal agenda. I have no idea what his personal agenda is, but it's likely pointed towards Bulldogs, maybe Panthers, and definitely not Wests Tigers.

You could argue that WT missed a golden opportunity in attempting to recruit Phil Gould.
He LOVES the tigers, never played for them but always talks fondly of them and loves the nostalgia of the club.
It would of been a sweet justice for him to land at direct competitor to the Panthers and Ivan since they advised him his services are no longer required. I would of thought of all the opportunities, Warriors, Bulldogs or Us. Getting direct revenge on the Panthers by making the little cat roar louder in the West would of been a huge drive.
Well we’ll never know.

Likewise. Great build for a modern centre and likes to try make stuff happen. Bit more pricy but a better upside

got some good young centres coming through in Fuatimau, Kepaoa and Ogden (providing we keep him) but I'd have him for sure. very good defensively as well.

Hang on. Ogden is good defensively as well?! What are we waiting for, sign him up

Our club should take initiative and increase and extend Stefano, Laurie, Simpkin, Blore and bring in the kids to top 30. Move on from Brooks, Liddle, Garner, Tamou and build from now. Give Madge the next two seasons to bring things together and recruit next year.

Veterans on 1-2 year deals would be wise Tariq Sims and or young players looking for opportunity. The club has to be truthful and rebuild this side won’t make the finals and I don’t want them trying to buy a side that can do it in the short term. It’s the wrong way we will suck for a few years but they have to make it happen.

Young players like that aren’t stupid, why would you re sign

Cash no one else can offer as they are under contract. Agents get a higher commission. You shouldn’t lose any players you want to keep especially the young ones.

Well let’s hope the board don’t make the same mistake of letting them all go off contract at the exact same time again and extend some of them early

We have form unfortunately.

Yeah Gould loves us.
Like Tony Soprano loves the people he kisses on the cheek before a bullet enters their head.

Has anyone mentioned Ikavalu. He’s no speed demon , but he’s definitely not a reserve grade winger . Will he progress now the Morris twins are done ?

Forgot about kep, thought centre should definitely be his first position. Would love to see more of Ogden if we don’t sign any backs. Give him a top 30

I think Gildart is a very very long way off first grade. Kepaoa needs a big pre-season but if we don't sign any centres I'd have him and Ogden there Round 1. in saying all of that I think we'll sign a centre. whether it's Scott or Burns remains to be seen.

I would upgrade Ogden in place of resigning Roberts.
