I am very pleased (to date) we haven't ended up with a 32 year old hooker with bad knees. He's had a fine career at the Raiders and should end it at that club. Liddle is our hooker!

Tim Sheens arrival may change that.. very keen on the 32 yo hooker..

Not to worry Sheen won't be in the office until next year the way we are going.

For a club that has not made the finals for 10 years we seem to keep getting sponsors but cannot get a quality signing to save itself.... Maybe we need to Corporate team to take over the player recruitment area :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Weren’t they a sponsor in the mid 2000’s? I can almost swear that they were. Either them or a business with a very similar name.

I think there is a real estate agent on the board?

So weve got a litigation lawyer....a real estate agent...we need a used car salesman to complete our triumvirate!

Madden has had very limited opportunities in NRL and did OK....**but hasnt been a standout in KOE cup either**

We seem to have numerous players who just cant make the next step up...whereas Souths have 2 young 7s who get a chance and take it with both hands

His 1st game was solid, the game against the Titans ruined his confidence. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes an ample 1st grader but I am glad WTs have chosen not to be the team that waits for that to happen.

At best...if he recovers his confidence and all goes great.. he will be "competent"...but we need a bit more than that.

He needed his Snr half in those early games to take some pressure off him but he was basically thrown under a bus by Brooks being so poor

Brooks gave him nothing to work with for sure...but I was just looking for a glimmer of hope from Madden,which means more than simply just not making mistakes.I didnt get it

I don’t want to say it was all shady but I believe ASIC were involved and at least one of them spent time in the can. And people think things are bad now!!

were desperate for a centre,particularly at the season start,and if he is genuinely off the booze Id throw a 1 +1 yr club option at him in a heartbeat

If we are going for tossers why don’t we get Corey norman to play in the centre’s. He’s also back up fullback.

Agreed, and in the face of it, Dennis is the first to go, but the likes of this bloke with business acumen and the willingness to put money in, is the one to keep.

He should be a great asset to the Board,which needs more balance tbh between the Chairman and the rest
And of course his $$ are not unwelcome
But Chairman is still running the show
