If Tigers are that adamant on not wanting him to leave and play hardball, it's one of those two options. Teams don't pay players to play elsewhere if they never wanted them to leave

Very different situations,neither matterson or aloiai were on big money and were going to other clubs for more dollars.That is not the case if Brooks goes as he would be on about 750-800k (I dont believe the crap in the media about being on 900+)

Very different situations,neither matterson or aloiai were on big money and were going to other clubs for more dollars.That is not the case if Brooks goes as he would be on about 750-800k (I dont believe the crap in the media about being on 900+)

Plus, Aloai had a contract with Manly for the year after. He was essentially just released a year early by us.

And maybe he should jog on if he wants out and we should happily wave him off. The timing is perfect due to injuries however you have to take the opportunities when they come.

If Brooks genuinely wants out, then he can go, $0 freight from Tigers. Will not happen.

It may not happen but I wouldn’t be so confident. The flames haven’t been put out for weeks and the drums are beating louder.
