@GNR4LIFE and @avocadoontoast if you guys have given up just go support another team or stop supporting the game all you guys post is negative stuff and while I don’t deny the club has made dumb decisions at times you guys never say anything positive this place is riddled with negativity and you two are definitely in the top 5 if you’ve given up which sounds like you have just stop posting to try and annoy everyone else sorry to the admins and mods who run this as it isn’t related to the forum it just had to be said

Second post and you’re already making friends telling people they should go support other clubs cos they see things differently to you. If you plan on sticking around, you’ll read lots of posts similar to ours.

Although I don't always agree with @GNR4LIFE and @avocadoontoast everyone has the right to express how they feel and say what they want about players and the club, it is a forum.
If everyone had the same view it would be a pretty boring place.
If you don't like what they say then don't read it, but guys continue to express opinions, some things the club does right but let's he honest a he'll of a lot of bad things that the club has done over the last few years, we need to live in reality until things change

Until the club shows improvement on the field or we bear the fruits of this supposed junior development, we will never sign a marquee player. Imagine how poor our reputation is behind the scenes that the public don’t see.

2022 will be one of the roughest years as I’m sure will stink it up on the field and be publicly linked and rejected to every off contract player of substance.

Jeeze.. you'd assume if Mahoney signs with dogs they'll be a top 8 side easily.

Our recruitment really has been unforgivably bad.

Marquee players will not come to us atm, we will need to build from the ground up which we are doing.

It's a long road to the top (of NRL).

We haven’t played finals it in a decade, with no sign of them any time in the near future. I wouldn’t say we’ll never play finals again, but it’s getting to the point where it would not surprise me if we didn’t.

Agree with most of what you have said.

Some people are too hung up on the mistakes of the past rather than the corrections the club has and is making to address them.

That said dont tell people to go support another club. Thatll get you nowhere.

Missed the mark here. You are not the arbiter of how people may express their own passion for following a team.

In fact, one may argue that by refusing to be critical when it is warranted, and it IS warranted, you are less of a fan.

People can say what they want about who they support, apathy would indicate they're best to follow another team, not frustration.

I enjoy their comments Glen. Both offer views which are not universally popular but realistically reflect the situation in which WTs finds itself. We've had 3 years of disappointment so I can well understand posters wanting to express their views.

If we could just get rid of certain supporters we'd be a top 2 team.

I think @GNR4LIFE and @avocadoontoast are top posters and I typically don't view them as negative.

We are struggling atm but things can turn around and there are always surprises during the season,

We are in the position we're in due to long periods of consistent incompetence at all levels of the club. It annoys the hell out of me that I have followed a club that has been so bad for so long and it appears to somehow be getting worse. Being overly negative about the club at the moment is , in my opinion, being nothing more than realistic. If you think we're doing well, you're deadset dreaming.

There is the option to mute me and GNR so you don't have to read our negativity. I suggest you use it as I don't think either of us will be stopping.

Bit of exaggeration - they met with him and his manager to look at signing him for 2023. According to the report he told them he wants to talk with Parra first. If it was us it would have been reported as another one that got away.

We'll go very close, the Dragons are pretty terrible though.
