Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Decent attacking player but with mediocre (at best) defence and not worth anything like the $700k upgrade he is reportedly demanding. Bye Lucy!

Luciano for Kane Bradley?

Ahh the old uno reverse card

Could use a winger, couldn't we ?

I'd say centre more in need of help than our wing

Geez Luciano’s defence is ordinary now. Wait until he is baking in the hot humid Townsville sun. He will be the town turnstyle.

Mr Hair Colouring Pascoe ..

It’s great to speculate for entertainment purposes.

Perhaps Tartak said Leilua is leaving regardless? Or maybe pacscoe said come back when you have a sensible price, like around 500? Or maybe Sheens had no interest in keeping him so said don’t waste an email chasing him? Now we can choose to have the upper hand in negotiations with the cowboys for 2022.

I wouldn't think there's any urgency in talking to Luch about his 2023 deal between August and November... in August they were fighting for their season, and the boys literally just returned to training a few weeks ago.

I like how the DT is making out like this is a huge blow for the club and the officials are "rocked" when it's been very clear in the media that the asking price has been well above what we think is reasonable, and Tigers have invested a lot of effort getting Papali'i in for a lower sum than what Luch is asking. I don't think there's a fan alive that thinks Luciano should be paid more than Isaiah Papali'i on current form.

Jeremiah Nanai, Daejarn Asi or Heilum Luki. Only ones not named Taumalolo I'd look at in a swap

Pascoe probably told him come back with a reasonable price point and we’ll talk.

I wouldn’t be talking with them either for $700k

I didn't believe Pascoe was responsible for player re-signings or signings?

Unless pascoe is literally ignoring calls, get off your behind and pick up a phone tartak. Man these agents have it easy.

It’s no huge loss in my life eyes. Good in attack and poor in defence. If he does leave then I’m glad we aren’t ruining our cap to keep him.

I think the article is embellishing the story to put it mildly as well. I definitely don’t think he went from strength to strength this year. If anything his form dropped a little compared to 2020.

Luciano has some style to his game but is far from being a complete footballer.

I don't think he has the pedigree to ever really become one either.

For the Cowboys, another Esan like signing.
I'll be very surprised if he sees out his contract.

Lucy is a bench impact forward. His defence
will always be rubbish.

Agreed.

I think Papalliii is exactly the type if 2RF Sheens likes.

I'd prefer to see Tuilagi progress.

Why didn’t the cows go after Pap from parra like we did , he is a better all rounder then Luc , but I’m ok with us going after him and getting him we just need to do the same again , secure 3 guns in positions we need filled and we will be very competitive , Centre , Hard head prop , and ?

I hardly think we’d be shattered either

Joey Leilua is back dumping on the club again since he's ruined his boxing match by getting covid. "I wish i could take it back, to be honest. Every week we'd change to different tactics. We just didnt have a system."
In a shocking turn of events, coach uses different tactics when versing different teams.

Ffs he's an absolute dumb arse, so the coach changed tactics for different teams? Isn't this the coaches job to change tactics and game plans week to week? This bloke makes so many stupid comments and I'm glad his gone.

If he's talking about our defensive tactics, he may have a point. Your defensive strategy should be pretty similar for the season. Doesn't change him being a dumbarse though.

Yeah, Papa is a gun. He was my number 1 off season target and we got him. I’d like us to get Nikora next. Those two are my top 2 signings.
