If we manage to get Api then i wonder if the Panthers would go for B Smith for one year until they find their next long term hooker. If Smith takes the cash that Api would have been on then at least they're not missing out in terms of quality while they take their time to find an option for 23.

If we sign Api and Dogs release Cotric and Thompson to us then i imagine Dogs would get Liddle and Lumelume as their replacements. With TPJ they don't need a like for like replacement for Thompson.

If we get Cotric, Thomson and Korisau then that's been a productive off season. If we can also swap lucy for one of the cows young guns then again we're in a strong position for next year and beyond.

A few big IFs there though. Can we actually sign quality players...?

Why would the dogs get Liddle? They’ve already got 2 bog average hookers on their payroll they don’t need 3. In 2023 they’ll have 4 on their books. Liddle is 10000% not going to the bulldogs

He's lightyears ahead of who they currently have. That just says a lot about their current options. A 2 year deal where he could come off the bench when Mahoney joins isn't that unlikely.

No he’s really not. They just extended JMK, just signed cook, and signed Mahoney. No club is gonna have 4 hookers in their top 30. Will not happen

Things are looking up for the Tigers. Signed an origin hooker and premiership winner in the spine. Hooker was definitely an area that we needed to strengthen and Api adds a lot in both attack and defence. Hopefully Penrith let him go a year early.
