Ross has been making some bad errors hes not an upgrade

I can’t believe anyone would see Ross as an upgrade…. our wingers aren’t champions, but they’re doing their jobs.
Ross is an average player at best.

I'm with you. I can't even see why its a discussion point.

Theres a rumour going around that Esan Marsters has resigned for 2 more years, can anyone confirm or deny?? probably a hoax tho….

Fox sports reporting the re-signing of Marsters https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/private-ryan-cowboys-half-pick-of-generation-next-young-broncos-half-pushes-his-case/news-story/56d0af484da281211e26e50a0a95271f but haven't seen it confirmed on the WT site.

I see…. thats great news, just waiting for the Tigers to confirm now

If masters has re signed that is good news , Ivan will make a great player out of this kid
That's I down with one more to go if all the talk is correct

But who will it be that joins this great club

Folau would be really good. He's a fullback and we have the coin to get him. The ARU have made a complete meal of the situation and he seems prepared to leave if need be.

We have room for 2 game changers now….

Gone rather quiet on the game changer front..

Stay tuned…

....next week

So this Innsaneink post was gee up .. or was he referring to the resigning of Marsters ?? Would really love to see a signing that would give us a little bit of the X factor either in the forwards or backs .. !!

Jeremy Latimore the 3 legged man he would be a good signing solid player the lunch box has arrived

The noise last year was we tried to sign Latimore then as well, before he went to Dragons.

Ross would be in ISP with us and have to earn his spot. He's no superstar that walks straight in. Team morale is high and even signing a star and dropping an average player who's busting his ass and performing at a high level would be very disruptive, but for an Origin level player probably ok. For a squaddie like Ross no.

I agree we can do better than Ross but we need another centre for depth. Ivan is all about competing after Milnes departure we are thin. Ross as a backup would be okay he’s not on big money.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest it was a tongue-in-cheek reference to the alleged game changing signing thread from earlier in the year…

Twitter rumour says we are chasing a Super League centre Oliver Gildart, last years young player of the year for 2019

A small centre who's scored a try every 2 games in the ESL? Meh, not overly inspiring stats but I've never seen him play.

We need more centre options though , that's for sure

**Wigan Warriors ace Oliver Gildart on the radar of NRL side Wests Tige**rs

OLIVER Gildart is set to be offered an NRL chance with Wests Tigers as a raft of big-name departures from Wigan looms.

For SunSport understands John Bateman’s future may be decided this week as four clubs Down Under want him.
And Catalans Dragons owner Bernard Guasch believes Sam Tomkins wants to make the move to the south of France.

Centre Gildart is keen to follow in the footsteps of fellow Englishmen Sam Burgess, James Graham and Gareth Widdop and try his hand down under.

And Wests, where Gareth Ellis made his name in the NRL nearly a decade ago, are out to snap him up, especially as the 21-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season.

England back-rower Bateman is set to find out if he will be offered a new contract by the Warriors at a crunch meeting.

However Canberra Raiders, where big pal Elliott Whitehead plays, Newcastle Knights, Brisbane Broncos – who are coached by England boss Wayne Bennett – and Cronulla Sharks are all keen.
And should the 24-year-old not agree new terms, he has a clause in his current deal that would allow him to move to an NRL club for next year.

Tomkins, whose drop goal on Friday earned Wigan a 9-8 win at Leeds, has been offered a four-year deal at Catalans which would take the full-back until he is 33-years-old.

And the man who tabled the bid believes he wants to head to Perpignan, as well as admitting they are in for St Helens’ Matty Smith.

Guasch said on Tomkins: “All I know is the player and his family want to come to Perpignan, and we want him.

“And we are still talking to Matty Smith but we are waiting on St Helens and in full negotiation with them. One day they are letting him go and the next day they are keeping him, we need a quick reply.

15 tries in 20 games in 2017 and I haven't seen him either but I'm sure Brett Hodgson and Ivan Cleary have

Yeah that's a pretty good strike rate for a centre, even if it is in the ESL.
