Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Yep madden will be there and tapine will be here with a few dollars to make up. I rate Tapine, been saying it since Dec,

I rate him and hope it happens but the Raiders wouldn't do a trade for Hodgo so can't see this one coming off they get a fringe NRL player for a regular.

You will. Roosters see him as a once in a generation type talent behind closed doors. Only played 7 games in two years due to injury.
Could go the same way as Tautau Moga
he was an absolute beast in Lower grades at East then injury after injury off the top of my head 4/5 ACL surgeries I think his shoulder and wrist as well super talented player

He could. Some players, no matter how gifted they are, just don’t have the bodies to stand up to the grind.

Apart from being a walking Head Bin,its embarrassing(but not unsurprising) that none of the other 15 clubs that he hasnt publicly dumped all over(like he did with WTs) has any interest in him..
For both reasons,Id never touch him at an cost ...or for any reason
He burnt his bridges here
With the new site not keeping history (or you kind of click back to the original message) and I think you did not quote....

I have no idea whom you are talking about! Walking head bin, Embarrassing, Dumped on the WT.

OK this limit's it to min 10 players and two coaches 😉

I had the same experience today when I came into this thread in the middle of a debate of a player who would or wouldn’t play origin. It took about 10 hits of the back button to find out who the player was (Doueihi).

4or 5 ACL? Ive never heard of anyone having that many. Thats extreme.

EDIT: I thought that that was unbelieveable and looked it up. 4 x ACL. Incredible he has kept going and performing at that level

Nup not like Douiehi. We didn't sign him after he had done 2. He'd done 1, played a decent few games after that and then did his 2nd. Billy Smith has played a handful of games over a few seasons.
Billy Smith
2 games in 2019
3 games in 2021
if we go by the Jacob Liddle career game calculation as he has only played 1 or 2 games in a season this is not counted so effectively he is making his debut.
Like Jacob he had 1 game in 2016 so we don't count that

Just thought I would throw it in here as it is a good tool for player evaluation. (If you weren't aware) on the NRL website you can look at an individual player and their win/loss ratio per season. It makes for some real ugly reading for Tigers players

For example besides 2013 where he played one game - 2018 is the only season where Luke Brooks won 50% of games - 12 wins 12 losses
Another classic is - Joffa in 2020 at the Broncos - 15 games for 15 losses

FYI - Momers played one season at the Tigers (2019) and achieved 50% - 6 wins / 6 losses

I obviously realise it is a team sport and one player usually doesn't win or lose a game - but it would be nice to recruit some players used to winning!

Noffa’s record wouldn’t be much better. The club has been poor for over a decade, so their records aren’t going to be good.
