Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

The Kennel giving it to Sharon. They want a refund. Would be great if they start paying us a few hundred k a year to take Mbye when we should be paying them the same for Sharon. Thats like a 600k a year win fall for Wests.

Just mentioned on Fox Sunday about Mbye to WT's

I can really live with that , he is really unknown quality away from the Bulldogs system

Has speed , can goal kick , just set up the try for Josh Morris with good hands

Yeh I fail to see a negative. At 24, he is hitting his prime. I am very confident he can be a topline fullback, however, he if that doesn't work, he can play anywhere. Mbye will be our long term captain if he was to join us. I would love to see

1.Mbye
6.Reynolds
7.Cleary
9.Brooks

If Mbye signing is true
It still ain't over yet
Would still have money to spend
What about
1.Barba/ Holmes (enough $ ?)
2.Thompson
3\. Masters
4\. Mbye (centre)
5\. Funoa
6\. Reynolds
7.Brookes
9\. Liddle

Offload
Grant
Sue
Kev
Nofoluma ? (Dont shoot me down)
??????
Free up money sign a couple of you guns and we may have enough money for Barba or Holmes
Just a thought

Lara Pitt is less knowledgeable about rugby league than Peter Beattie is.
If she wasn't half-decent looking there is no way she would have a job that has anything at all to do with rugby league that is for certain.

Yes the token female i hate it i dont know why they they dont just go and get an Australian female rugby league player someone who plays the game at the highest leval and help get the elite female game more press inturn help to generate more money for them and also the payday would help the female player or players the sims women is great give her more time on air she loves the game and hits like a mac truck

You'd think 'The Queen' would know when to put some punctuation in her sentences

Yvonne Sampson is good , Gus rates her very highly

Shes mine leave her alone.

The “token” females generally have journalism degrees. They are bought into that role to subtly teach ex footballers about the profession they have got themselves into without formal training.

It’s an symbiotic relationship that helps former players and bidding journalists produce something that is sometimes watchable and informative.

How could you suggest brooks at 9 after what he is doing in the halves this year?

Dont get me wrong, I love what he's doing in the halves. I would be happy for him to remain there. However, I think he can be a rep player at 9\. He is a machine in defence, would be the fastest hooker in the NRL and his service great. I feel the only way we keep Luke and get Nathan is if Ivan convinces Luke that he and Nathan can form a 7 and 9 combo that takes both to rep level. I dont think Ivan would sacrifice Liddle for an aging Reynolds at hooker, however he would sacrifice him for a young Brooks. Just a thought. All this because Reynolds is signed for too long….4 years, that's the spanner

Mbye, Rona and Granville would be great. Still missing a forward or two though…

1\. Moses Mbye
2\. Corey Thompson
3\. Mahe Fonua
4\. Curtis Rona
5\. Malakai Watene Zelezniak

6\. Josh Reynolds
7\. Luke Brooks

8\. Ben Matulino
9\. Jake Granville
10\. Russell Packer
11\. Esan Marsters
12\. Chris Lawrence
13\. Elijah Taylor

14\. Jacob Liddle
15\. Michael Chee Kam
16\. Alex Twal
17\. Matt Eisenhuth

My understanding about Yvonne was she was the son her Dad never got .

He taught her all about the game and she loves it

Yvonne is great talks about the game with alot of passion has the build of a front row forward like Ruan Sims its just a shame that they dont give more jobs to elite female rugby league players would help them so much

Does this make sense

Mbye to Tigers before June 30
This frees up Money for the dogs as they would be able to front load a player for next year saving them cap money
I think the Dogs would see this as releaving some pressure
I can see this happening

Can anyone tell me why Wayne Bennet hasn't tried Corey Oates in the 2nd row? He has the agility, speed and size to be a really good forward. I'd try and pick him up and play him on the edge. After a preseason.
