Same as Latrell coming out in an interview when the coaching dilemma was sorted and said he’d love to play under benji as coach
They all look up to him

The other side of the coin is that Benji has not done anything to earn respect as a coach yet. They may idolise him, but do they want to be coached by him?

He needs to earn his stripes and get some results first...then, the rest will come.

Brooks is only devoted to his inflated salary the club pays him. He's not devoted to the Tigers, only his bank balance

You’re completely off the mark with this one mate.

1. He’s a half/hooker these days, if anything.

2. You want solid, experienced spine players near the end of their careers in your reserve grade team, ESPECIALLY considering how young ours is likely to be.

3. Again, he’s not in the Top 30, it is literally a no-lose situation.

Huge difference between "can play'' and "has played". Yes he has been slotted into positions and been a total turnstyle in those positions.

We need to get our defence right, sure we need a utility but a busted ex Parramatta Princesses need not apply.
