Tigers are interested in patience.

Don't you find it a little refreshing, that Tigers are not being linked to each and every player off contract? Cast your mind back to 2017 when every player in the game was linked to Tigers and Newcastle.

Signings will come and lack of noise doesn't mean lack of interest.

I’m finding nearly everything to do with Tigers this year refreshing.

The one area that continues to frustrate me is recruitment I don’t doubt a lot is happening behind the scenes. But what frustrates me is not much ever seems to eventuate. I suppose I should use the logic that this area will improve in accordance with our general improvement…... but do good players want to come here?

And yes - it is great to be out of the media spotlight

Do you really feel not much seems to eventuate in recruitment?

We signed more players for the 2018 season than any other club - Reynolds, Benji, Mats, McQueen, Rochow, Thompson, Packer, Fonua, Milne, Godinet, Gamble. And Tui from mid-season.

Not all of them worked out, but already we've cleared for 2019 Killer, Naiqama, Tui, Milne, MWZ.

And in the 4 months since Rd 1 kickoff we've signed Mbye, Farah and promoted Garner, all with immediate effect.

I count 14 players in our Top 30 that weren't on the roster at the end of 2017\. That's a lot of footballers, even for us trying to overhaul the squad.

Can’t argue with anything you say. I thought we recruited well considering our recent history and who was available. I suppose I’m saying historically we’ve been poor in this area and currently still not getting top players in their prime - but Mbye is an exception. I want to see us share a couple of young current top notch players. Maybe asking too much??

Ricky Letuele off to the wolf pack.

Valentine Holmes? NQ is the rumour…

That's all their first choice backs gone.
Josh Moriis isn't any thing special imo.

3\. Josh Dugan
4\. Josh Morris
5\. Aaron Gray

Unless they're making some big signings over the next few months or breaking out some amazing junior talents like Xerri....

Seems like a massive downgrade on this year.

Gus quoted as saying both Tamou and Merrin are not for sale… However both been told to lift.

Bulldog Ritchie dropped some goss.
Nothing concrete.

Both players could be great for us but that being said they could be massive flops as well and we've already got enough under performing props atm.

Listening to MMM at work. TPJ will be re-signing with broncos. Will happen in November as he's changing agents. Will be a two year deal.
