Interesting…
Someone mentioned the deal with the development players was they had to stay just that for minimum 2 years in order for the club / cap? to get the development discount.
What happens there with us promoting them to top squad next year???

Given it took us right up till June 30 to sign 30 players, don’t take it as a given that all the spots will be filled up before round 1\. Bit of a worry if some of the spots remaining are taken up by development players.

Haven’t heard that at all. I know a minimum contract for development players must be 3 years with the 1st year being they can’t play 1st grade after that I believe it’s up to the club to leave as is or promote. Development players can only stay as development for the for maximum 2 years.

We have 6 spots to fill for 2019 roster.

Thanks mate.

So we have 6 spots and 3 filled here leaves 3 spots left. Robbie and Benji (if signed again) makes 1 spot left. If that’s the case probably long odds to sign them both

6 spots…You would have to think centre, wing, front row, backrow and hooker are all part of that equation.

Our top 30 for next year including the 3 development players stands at 24 so we have 6 spots to fill (Farah & Benji not included in that 24 signed)

SIGH …. I think your maths is way off!

Corey Oates has already apparently turned down a big money offer from the Bulldogs.

Parramatta, Dragons and Knights all reportedly want to meet with him.

The Dogs are desperate, they thought they could entice Oats by mentioning “back row” - then Oats started think ‘grave yard’
