Whisper around DCE not happy with Manly possible swap to Broncos for Jack Bird to Manly.
Also CHN is good mates with Nathan he was at Ivan's house last year when Ivan tried to sign him but he elected to stay at Penriff may be he's reconsidered after all the goings on at Penriff

I hope they never win a comp ever again. I know it's all about money, but I don't see all the appeal for the players. The roosters have been dodgy for years and haven't been anymore successful then many other clubs. If it's the lifestyle they like, well go buy a house there and drive your AMG to training, wherever that is.

The only plus side to the Chooks signing every marquee player, is they will have to offload the odd player to at least been seen to be balancing the books. You would think players like Matherson would be looking for a new club

I think the club would 100% be chasing players we need , the club could already have secured 2 or 3 players but no names will be released until season end , or the club they currently play for are out of the running for a finals spot , this could be the only thing I can think of as teams already have announced plenty of player movements and Signings , we can't let 5 or 6 players go and not be covering them , there is a lot of talk about players under contract who could be moved on or are chasing releases as well , Tigers would not be sitting on their hands as Ivan Cleary is to smart for that and if he is staying for his next 2 years he needs an injection to get us further up the ladder , he would also know this and that's why , Grant , Sue and the others are on the move
My Tip is , if Brooks is not extended by November we are makeing a play for Nathan , I also think we will buy a hard Forward and a Centre

I think Hayne could be O.k but i think he could want $400,000 to $500,000 per season. But is he worth it?.
