Feki would be an amazing get. Him and nofa would go great guns for us.
A fit Merrin at the right price would be okay. He’s had too much drama at the panthers and I reckon a new club might do him good.

Like him as a person. Would be an excellent bloke for the team.
As a player it was only 3 years ago he was in origin + playing near 80 mins at lock / front row and providing plenty of spark with foot work and offloads. Became a bit of a battering ram at Penrith.

we desperately need:
- 2 aggressive and powerful props - A Paasi, Vave, JW-H, Asofa-Solomona, Gillard
- aggressive and powerful 2nd rower - e.g. Taukeiaho, Hess, Papalii, Farrell, Kikau
- aggressive and powerful lock - e.g. Taumalolo, Taupau
if we cannot establish strong go forward everything else cannot be consistently effective even if we buy Cleary, Feki, Outs and Tupou.

Spot on! We need to be focusing on the pack first, backs second. We've made a good start signing Matterson, but let's hope there are more to come - at least one more backrower and a big aggressive prop that actually makes metres! We can't go into next season with Taylor at lock, we need more aggression and a bigger body at 13.

I think merin played his best footy in the front row and had a little footwork before the line but wasn't dominant in defence. When playing lock he played too many minutes and his game altered a bit. Bench prop imo
