Matterson is a good example of what we should do with recruitment. Players looking for a starting job behind good players.
We may have some luck with players like Kurt Capewell, Euan Aitken, Jack Hetherington, Joe Ofehengaue, Christian Welch, Sam Kasiano, Tyrell Faumino etc. Good players that get limited opportunity and will back themselves against our roster to win jobs.

The rest of these are decent but Sam Kasiano is not good anymore.

Kasiano is well past it.

Christian Welch is the stand out in my opinion.

Welch is a really good player. I like Aitken as well with his determination to win.

Cameron Munster - carved up SOO on his debut and led his team to a grand final but that is outweighed by his occasional outbursts by some on here
Dylan Napa - SOO representative and just won a premiership, but nah we're too good for him as he's a grub (LOL)
Marty Taupau - One of the best forwards in the game but he's asking for too much money (what a surprise)

It's not a matter of whether we are getting them or not.

These are the players who are out of contract and/or rumoured to be looking for a new club. Subsequently, they have been suggested in this thread (which serves it's main purpose).

I've simply compiled a list of players who have been suggested and also noted the ridiculous comments from some users as to why the club should not attempt to sign them. Although I do believe we have a chance to sign these players, whether or not I do makes no difference to the point I'm trying to make. If forum members react negatively towards the suggestions to sign these representative players, then their expectations are way too high.
