Just interested, it was reported late last week Pascoe had to go via Auckland on route to the states. It was also rumoured at the time it was to either talk to or sign up a kiwi. Anyone have any info if there is a phantom kiwi coming to Concord and if so who.

From what I heard, Pascoe isn't in the USA

The plot thickens!

Momirovski looks a very nice prospect. I sill hold out a little hope for a late Jarry Hayne play. He would be great under a Bennett or a Maguire and would walk into our centres.

Still waiting on one more decent middle forward, hopefully the new coach has one up his sleeve.

What’s really concerning is with all this coach talk we’ve dropped the ball (again) in regards to recruitment. We desperately need a centre, wing, prop, second rower. With 2 positions left we are in the crapper!

Starting to understand the saying ‘one brick at a time.’ We should have a competitive squad by mid 2020’s

I actually hope we sign Hayne aswell only for not alot of coin. I would play him on the wing but wouldn't mind him in the centres.

400 or 500k for a player who can win a game on his own would be smart recruiting.

If the Dragons dont jump us i still hold out a bit of hope.

You're right there .. next season is going to be another tough one at this stage .. but 2020, with players retiring and off contract, we'll have plenty of money to spend in the market then.

We have a lot of really young players in our top 28 players that will need a season to see if they are up to it in 2020 . For us to be competitive for the top 8 in 2019, our 29th and 30th players will need to be top line players.

Yes we have players like Benji, Robbie, Packers, Mats, Rowdy and ET now .. but I expect these players to be gone come 2020.

Mate for the last 10 years it’s been the same…..next year will be hard, but we will be in great shape the year after. Nothing ever changes

We would need an active and fully function coach for that.

Whoever the coach may be (eventually) ….... he will bring his own structure and players ....... maybe only couple for next year, but then again that’s all that we are looking for short term ...... and definitely in 2020 when our roster is due for next major cleanout.
