Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Mate even Cronk who won't blame anyone, has said it's on our halves, he has gone full Brooks fan boy mode again after coming around for a long time, trying to blame Stef, when the problem is in the halves, he is not alone at this though.
The halves won’t be any better next year. If anything, they will be worse.

Keeping an eye on your man Demps?,
Been dropped from Roosters Ressies to the Bears, Now coming off the bench for them?
Any news? Mighta got distracted again?
Nah, out of the loop.

I think Bears are aligned with Storm now.
Is that the whack?

Doesn't seem like a good bench option.

We have so few spots available and we are desperate for halves and outside backs plus ideally we'd add a forward as well. I don't like the idea of signing Watson who just gives us a utility bench option.
The utility bench spot is a specialist position these days and having one makes a huge difference, the likes of Dylan Walker etc are so valuable. Not Having a specialist 14 is a massive weakness in the modern gane

I hear you but I worry we have so many holes in our squad this is a lesser issue.

Toa effort on the weekend was the perfect example. The winger had denied Souths the try but Toa did not back up and merely jogged when the ball was passed back inside to his opposite man, who scored the try. Not the first time Toa has been caught bulging.
You're not wrong, we have too many players that all too often don't put in the effort like chasing when there is an intecept or a tackle bust, coming in to help complete a tackle and as a result an attacking player breaks free or gets a pass away, pouncing on a loose ball. etc.

You see it all the time and Toa, Junior, Tommy and Asu are some of the worst offenders and for every good thing they do or the odd touch of class they occasionally produce, they do 2 or 3 things really badly that end up costing us.

While we're at it, I am less than impressed with Bateman, who to me makes too many mistakes and has too many brain snaps. I mean I like a bit of niggle but sometimes he just goes way too far and maybe I am missing the good bits that he produces but I just don't think he is giving us great value at the moment.

Who is?

We don’t need both Jayden Sullivan and Connor Watson. They cover the same positions.
Sullivan is not a hooker. He was used there to get gametime nothing else.
The kid is a pure half -5/8 player. I hate it when coaches think they can manufacture a player into another position that does not look natural for them.
It was like John Morris playing HB for us back in the day.....a terrible coaching decision by our current head coach who loves putting players in positions they are not right for.
Next thing we will say is that Tupou should be playing 2nd Row.

Good work experience

His pregnant girlfriend found him from Memory.
BMM was supposed to collect him from home that evening,
But moved on thinking he was sorted when he called him and there was no answer....

So big for a group of young blokes...
My bad thought it was his housemate who found him, his pregnant girlfriend makes it so much more tragic

Correct. I dont know. Has it helped Wests Tigers? Does the story help anything? Does it make your life justifiable? Dramatic. Yes. I thought this was a football forum. Not a helpline. Apologies.

You're funny sometimes but this ain't it mate.
Some people on here knew him, Including me.

You don't need to leave a comment or anything
but just try to be a bit more respectful please
