Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Mau is good but plays exclusively left edge back row. Not the player we need with Lawrence, Matterson and MCK. He’s be too costly. We need a real lock that plays as a third prop with mobility.

I think Mikalele or Twal could be the player from within. ET doesn’t provide punch in the modern game.

He was playing lock for Parra during periods when Nathan Brown was out injured this season. Similar size to Josh McGuire. No reason he wouldn’t be effective in the middle.

If there are no decent props available then playing someone like Ma’u in the middle would allow us to have Twal and Mikaele as the bench prop rotation.

This article has been posted once or twice, struggling to see why?

Is there more to it than manly paying / not paying Baz out? And what are the whelps about…

Very confused

Wrong team people, The article is in the Daily Mercury in Mackay about the Wests Tigers team in the Mackay region.

How do they go?

EB's team has played them a four times in both the Jason Hetherington and Laurie Spina Cup

They lapped us 3 times and we finally beat them last time we played them in Gladstone

Anyone know if Fonua-Blake has moved on from Manly - may be with Hasler now less players are likely to want out.

Fonua-Blake is what we need, not Napa.

We dont need Fonua-Blake, or Aauva, or Lui

We definitely don't want Aauva, wife-bashing piece of trash he is (although the Roosters are happy to have wife-beater Tetevano on their books).
Fonua-Blake would be awesome. As would Liu.

Auva retired

Interesting to see the Houth rating highly in these stats.

I read somewhere a few weeks ago that Maguire had a good relationship with him and could be keen to bring him across.

Hope so, good player. Can put some decent hits on too.

That would definitely offset this morning's fake news from Ivan Cleary.

Heard from a mate who follows the dragons that if Duffy finds a new home then Hayne will be offered big dollars.
Apparently they offered him peanuts so there moving the young bloke on to free up the coin.

Not a surprise for me. He works his butt off. I think even his detractors would acknowledge that. I think many fans are yearning for a high-impact forward, and Houth typifies the low-impact.
