AFB seems to have kept his nose clean after an incident when he was 19 and I hear he is a good family man from people down here who know him better than me. I saw Dylan Walker, wife and son at the Mall yesterday and they looked like a happy family. People make mistakes, it's how they learn from them that matters
Vaccinations are a personal issue, if you want to take them good luck to you, if not that's fine too, I don't label people who's personal choice differs from mine
Good luck to AFB I say, great player who deserves better than some of the comments here

Players wanted him gone. He's a kook and divides the playing group. Half baked preacher who doesn't know when to stop and Des didn't like him.

Any word on Staines/Burton TB?

BTW, there's a LOT of talk Harry will be a Tiger next year.

Don’t get everyone going now ?

Imagine the media if we signed burton... surprised were chasing a half at all. Not sure how we could fit in JAC/Tamou/Grant and anyone else in considering we’ve got limited spots and salary cap. Would have to be a few players released

The good ol' back ended deal.

Loving the info @tigerballs!

It would be a huge signing if we can keep Grant. The feeling around a team is very different when you see people committing than when you see people deciding to leave.

It'd be very Tigers though to be in the running with other clubs for players and end up signing the least talented of the bunch so hopefully we do get JAC and at least one of Grant, Hetherington, Staines or Burton.

Looking at touted recruitment it seems we've taken the approach of signing good/great players on big $ and filling out half the roster with cheap vets and youngsters.

Harry would have to be an absolute peanuts if we were to fit him in next season. If we get him and Tamou then he could get more but add JAC in and Grant would have to take a big cut for next season because we would still have another two spots to fill.

You and me could take up the last 2 spots if we were to keep Happy and land the Fox

Thanks for the wrap ...didn't realize you rated me so highly

Chris McQueen had a stormer of a game for Huddersfield over night, would be an astute pick up imo

Thats Gold!

Just like JAC, he was let go and now we can pay overs to get him back

If that doesn’t make you wary about signing players that look good in England, I don’t know what will.
He actually looked like he had speed over there.
Josh, you will kill it at 5/8 over there, take the opportunity!

Josh would truly be a revelation in the ESL.

I would love to have had the opp to live and work Overseas for a few years.

Josh had to rush home on a cold night on the northern beaches "Because he has a family" (despite the fact he has no partner or kids and any other family would be excluded from the NRL bubble). Cant see him tolerating the cold in UK away from "family".

It's not a bad thing. Melbourne did it with Slater, cronk and Smith and used fillers for many of the other positions.

The Panthers prop who could be the missing piece for Wests puzzle
After reported interest, could Michael Maguire land a deal for the rival star?

SEPTEMBER 17, 2020

Jack Hetherington has had a fantastic debut season on loan with the Warriors and it seems as if Michael Maguire has loved what he’s seen from the young bloke.

James Hooper reported on NRL 360 that the Tigers will be interested in chasing him for next year, as he still is under contract until 2021. Hetherington’s enthusiasm has been infectious this year and seems like he would fit perfectly into a Wests Tigers forward pack that’s lacking a bit of jazz moving forward.

With the reported $700,000 contract over two years on the table for James Tamou to come and be a veteran presence on this roster, why not add another talented youngster that can benefit from the experience of others and hopefully blossom into an elite talent.

Currently, the Tigers pack lacks the ability to bend the line, but with the power and aggression in his game, Hetherington has no trouble doing so. He is currently sitting atop the Warriors forward pack with nine metres per carry, tied with Tohu Harris – who is widely regarded as an elite edge back-rower. Hetherington’s athleticism and motor give him the ability to inflict damaging runs, tied with the likes of Boyd Cordner, David Klemmer and above James Fisher-Harris and Jesse Brommich – certainly impressive.

In a small sample size, Hetherington has proved himself a problem to tackle with 6 tackle-breaks in 7 games to go along with one line-break. He has brought a much-needed X factor to this Warriors side and I am confident that with more games under his belt, his stats will provide more proof to the eye test. You can just see he is going to be a consistent pain for the opposition players to handle. A replacement for Russell Packer with the same sort of physical intent on the pitch but with more upside in terms of career trajectory. This signing would be a phenomenal pick up for the Tigers.

It reeks of another case of stealing the likes of Doueihi and Luciano away from their respective former clubs and would be another wise move as Maguire looks to retool his roster. Along with all the talk of Josh Addo-Carr and James Tamou recently, if Michael Maguire can steal Jack Hetherington out of the clutches of Ivan Cleary then I’m sure he’ll add some extra intensity to what now seems to be a toxic club rivalry next time these teams face off. This will be a big decision for Jack as he’s more likely to get regular minutes moving to the Tigers and that may see his career flourish as a result individually. Potentially a bittersweet signing as Tigers fans may disapprove of anything to do with Ivan, but his talent is unquestionable.

I’m sure he’d be welcomed in with open arms, and if not, his play will speak for itself. It will not take Tigers fans long to realise that Hetherington is the real deal.

He would bring experience, would be handy to have a former origin star to mentor our younger blokes.

Josh is an emotional man, Its about the LOVE, He would thrive in the cold if he knew that the club he was at was invested in him.

You think with the crap Josh went through with ex girlfriend played out in media that a fresh start overseas would be the way to go. Think he has alot to offer but not in our current set up.

Why would you not go hard to sign Burton, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4ekZGYYiHk

He would be a huge get, he really would be a better get than JAC in the long run I think, but I really hope we can get both, or Staines and Burton instead of JAC

It is super league. The standard is a hell of a lot lower.

I think Burton is more important to us than Staines is right now. We need long term stability in the halves, cant go with Reynolds next year and then start again in 22.

I think getting JAC brings more than what he delivers on the field, we finally sign a superstar after so many years - will bring a sense of legitimacy to our club. If we can fit Burton and JAC I would be happy to miss out on Staines and leave Mybe at 1 for the next 2 years.

Staines re-injured his hamstring already. Only young and they might fix it up but having a lot of issues with it already, might make him put his asking price down a little.

Mate I am not greedy Burton and Tamou will do, but throw in JAC and Hethrington and I think 2021 will be the year we finally play finals footy

Two or three hamstring problems already. Tommy T vibes. Potentially a great player but recurring injuries a worry. Wouldn’t pay huge cash on him. Burton priority for me

Exactly, that what I was saying, if we could get Burton and JAC that would be a great effort
