What was clear tonight which really was the story all year.

1. We need a fullback with top end speed enter the 🦊.

2. We need some big tough front rowers we couldn’t handle Paulo. Enter Tamou and Utoikamanu.

3. Douhiei is a 5/8 and better with Brooks. Exit Marshall.

4. Kepoa starts on a wing and Talau replaces Mbye.

5. BJ has to come back I top condition a game breaker when fit.

We need a goal kicker which is a massive issue.

Agree with all that 100% except I think AD will be fine as Goal Kicker. Most of the kicks tonight were nearly in the stands and he kicked the ones he should make tonight.. I like the fact that he was pissed off when he missed them even though it were close misses.. He will pratice in the off season..

After tonight I am excited about next year and what comes of it.

Huth is on the WTs official list for players departing this year so that looks like a no for him.

Sad to see a lot of these guys go. Obviously the two legends but Taylor has been so good for us, especially his first two seasons for he was awesome. The Huth always been a solid work horse as well.

Really? Harry is the only one I'd keep.

Me too but it doesn’t mean I’m not sad about them leaving.

I thought Tommy looked better than BJ especially in defence

Agree but BJ> Mbye any day of the week. Madge has to get him fit. Nofa scores due to BJ threat at centre defensively he’s been flawed forever.

Yah Eiso and ET have also been really good.

Always forget Eiso is on the older side (28), which isn't too old but he's not young either. So not a terrible decision, but he is a quality squad player. Enjoyed his work at lock this season, very good subtle hands.

And ET is just a champion - doesn't put his head down and sook when dropped, works hard and adapts his game to suit the team/the way the game is going in general. Was really good this season, and even his hit ups were fairly effective. Big fan of the guy, hope he calls time on it because I do worry about his head knocks.

I think the decision has already been made that McIntyre stays and the Huth is gone. No doubting the Huth has a good motor but Madge is clearly investing in youth, and some of which have a harder edge to them, such as McIntyre and Blore.

Eisenhuth tries hard but the NRL is too quick for him.
Garner does the fancy stuff but doesn’t work hard enough.
Lucy had a good season.
Twal didn’t finish the year off well.
Musgrove needs a pre-season
Mikaele is not an NRL forward
Taylor is a trier but is past his prime
Grant is an absolute champion
McIntyre is tough but injury prone
Packer needs to leave
Aloiai is a good quality NRL player
Blore isn’t fit enough at this stage
MCK not NRL standard

If ET was just a bit bigger he would be a top class forward. Brilliant defender and he runs hard, just gets dominated when he hits the line. Like
You said he works incredibly hard on and off the field and is just an all around great bloke. Always plays with passions and always does the tough stuff a great player to look up to

I thought Tommy looked better than BJ especially in defence

I think both Tommy and A.K are going to serve the WTs very well in the future with more experience and game time. But I have to say I love this Asu Kapaoa kids confidence nothing seems to faze him and you can see he improves with each game his played.

Agree with other comments, tonight's end was very fitting to what our year was. I'm honestly thankful I don't have to endure that for another week. 🙏

Doueihi and Brooks didn't look as bad as I'd anticipated but still think we're in desperate need for another forward or two. Also thought a couple of our boys had their best game.

I'm quietly confident with our forward pack next year...

Tamou + Aloiai starting props
LL + Blore starting backrow
Big Mac starting Lock

Musgrove, Stefano bench prop rotation
Twal to sub Big Mac at Lock
Simpkins or a third prop to complete da bench...

Depth in the backrow is a bit of a concern, but If injuries are kind then that could be a very competitive pack.

That’s a good pickup. Might end up staying as depth he’s only very young and Madge seems a big of his work ethic at training. Hopefully a year in reserves again can improve his game. We need depth at second row

Judging off performances definitely but Seyfarth is very young and a hard worker, he will improve. ET and Huth at the back end of their careers now
