How many spots left for next year?

5 spots open. That’s not including Momirovski who’s said he will come back but there’s been nothing official about it.

Hopefully JAC takes another one of those spots, Sam McIntyre and Alex Seyfarth were not included in the departing players list so there’s a chance they both stay.

Disappointing to hear seyfarth staying

He might not, could depend on how many players Tigers manage to sign. If there’s no options Seyfarth might take spot #30 on minimum wage.

Hopefully not sick of having no hopers in the 30.

With the departure of what 7 of our lads, what does that do for the salary cap??

I remember an article like mid 2019 saying tigers cap was progressively going to get better and that we should have tons if we don’t resign, but this year all I’ve seen is we’re not going to get a break until the end of 2021.

Anyone have any wisdom/knowledge around this? Surely dropping benji, elijah, chris and the rest that were announced should give us a bit of breathing room?

Based on what we've heard, we can sign one player in the 600-700K range. We don't have money for a marquee signing, it is all tied up in Mbye, Reynolds and Packer.

God I hope Packer gives up and retires, hopefully we start engaging in more club options when creating contracts with risky signings

Where was Packer last night? I didn't see him with all the other players after the game.

Maybe too cold at Parra for him?

He was in the dressing room after the game when they were filming Benji

What was clear tonight which really was the story all year.

1. We need a fullback with top end speed enter the ?.

2. We need some big tough front rowers we couldn’t handle Paulo. Enter Tamou and Utoikamanu. I

3. Douhiei is a 5/8 and better with Brooks. Exit Marshall.

4. Kepoa starts on a wing and Talau replaces Mbye.

5. BJ has to come back I top condition a game breaker when fit.

We need a goal kicker which is a massive issue.

I thought Tommy looked better than BJ especially in defence

I think both Tommy and A.K are going to serve the WTs very well in the future with more experience and game time. But I have to say I love this Asu Kapaoa kids confidence nothing seems to faze him and you can see he improves with each game his played.

The pace and power and finishing are great. I would like him to move into the centres with Talau.

I like AJ on the wing....I think we will have some neat centres coming through the ranks and not as many win

He has certainly performed well what with 4 or so tries? I believe from what he has demonstrated, he has the typical skills you see in NZ rugby outside centre, fast, strong, good ball skills and a strong one on one defender. Hopefully the Club is planning along these lines. Having a Talau and Kepaoa centre pairing is exciting.

Looking at the presentation to Benji & Chris last night it looked like all the squad was there a lot of young and unfamiliar faces amongst them photos were taken and should appear on the WT'S website

I know we have a few development said guys coming into the 30...kei and Bradley not sure who else tho

Kei isn’t confirmed yet. Bradley, Cini, Madden and Simpkin are all listed to be in our top 30 next season

We’re also reported to be losing Garner so could open up another spot

Damn having both Cini and Bradley in our 30 doesn’t sound great

It's probably our only choice until Ivans mess disappears and we have some $$ to throw around. I'll blow up after every loss still, but in the same breath wont expect too much to change next year. We really need some cash in the till before we see what Madge can do to the squad.

NSWRL GRAND FINALS TODAY
LIVE STREAMING ON THEIR FACEBOOK SITE

The action at Bankwest Stadium on Sunday will kick off at 11am when defending premiers Ryde-Eastwood Hawks take on Cronulla-Caringbah Sharks in the Sydney Shield Grand Final.

The Hawks finished the season as Minor Premiers and have been well led by halves Mitchell Gray and Adam Rizk while the Sharks have benefitted from the skills of former NRL player, Michael Lichaa.

The focus will shift to the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership at 1.15pm with Minor Premiers the Central Coast Roosters taking on the North Sydney Bears.

The competition will be fierce with the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Origin match just around the corner and both teams boast plenty of NSW starpower with the Roosters team including Golden Boot winner Isabelle Kelly and the Bears hard-hitting forward Simaima Taufa.

The day will finish at 3.30pm with the Presidents Cup, which has been a runaway success with teams competing from both regional NSW and the Sydney metropolitan area, with Minor Premiers Maitland Pickers taking on the Glebe-Burwood Wolves.

The Pickers have been strong this season with former NRL player Brock Lamb calling the shots while the Wolves are the only team to have beaten Maitland this season.

All matches will be live streamed on the NSWRL Facebook page which can be accessed by clicking here.

Wrong thread, but given how off topic this thread goes who really cares?

ADAM KEIGHRAN OFF CONTRACT AT WARRIORSAdam joined the Vodafone Warriors after appearing 26 times at Intrust Super Premiership level for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (2017) and the Penrith Panthers (2018). A left-footed goal kicker, he scored 202 points in 23 games for Penrith's ISP side in 2018 (10 tries, 81 goals).

He finished the 2015 season by earning selection in an Australian Schoolboys side which beat New Zealand Residents Under-18s in two encounters. Among his team-mates were Nathan Cleary, Cameron Murray and Blayke Brailey.

He scored 206 points in 37 under-20 appearances for the Bulldogs in 2016 and 2017.

Adam impressed in the Vodafone Warriors' 2019 NRL trials against Melbourne and Wests Tigers to clinch his NRL debut in the season-opening clash against the Bulldogs.

Becoming Vodafone Warrior #231, he scored a try and kicked six goals in the club's 40-6 victory and was also used in the halves in the next two matches against Wests Tigers and Manly. He returned for his fourth appearance in July, coming off the bench in the contentious loss to Parramatta, and had a similar role in the superb 24-16 win over Manly as well as the season-ending 24-20 victory against Canberra.

In 15 Canterbury Cup games in 2019, Adam scored 86 points (five tries, 33 goals).Look good against Manly could be a cheap pick up.
