So accordingly to the DT Suaalii has rejected us (Doubt we even offered him a contract but won't let that get in the way of a story) and Roosters are asking South to release him early..
He is not allowed to play next year anyway but NRL will allow it for big clubs so where does that leave Teddy ??? Back to us ???
Looks like South or Dogs will get JAC so not to sure who our next target is.
It's going to be a depressing few months ahead i think but will have my fingers crossed.

Might be a bit early to comment on JAC but it does seam to be Groundhog Day when it comes to recruitment

You lost me at DT.

Surely you know better than to read, and especially believe, anything written in that tabloid trash

If Harry wanted to be here ,now is his opportunity presuming CS plays on.
Storm are set to decline significantly without Bellamy and Smith over next 12 mths(who are irreplacable),plus their two gamebreaking wingers, and an aging forward pack.Theyve peaked
But my guess Harry, who will probably stay loyal, can do better than WTS ..we underperformed this season, really havent addressed the lack of quality cattle to fix that, and just as importantly we were a divided club with Benjis eggshells garbage splitting the team into two camps ..something he wld never have seen at Storm
Benji..the gift that keeps giving

Our season was over before Benji made those comments if indeed it was him. You need to look at the coach for the side going backwards with a stronger squad that he added 6 players players to. But that’s ok let’s just keep blaming Benji for this season’s failure
and while where at it let’s blame him for 17 years of failure

Agree our season was stuttering at the time before subsequently falling off a cliff, and also agree that the jury is out on the coachs performance tbh
But its not easy when youve got 25% of the salary cap sitting on the sidelinesand/ or at NRL..and another 8% going thru the motions at no 3 ...its gonna bite you at some stage
Where I take exception is senior players(almost certainly Benji as he repeats this phrase in the media as though he owns it) bleating their personal frustrations to the media mid season, and giving some of the weak willed players an "out" for sub performance
This type of narrative is simply divisive, and almost certainly a key reason (as well as poor defence)that despite his considerable achievements he's at the CES atm

Might be a rubbish take, but anyone else agree that Tommy Talau could be used as a lock for us? We’ve been crying out for a ball playing lock for a while now, Talau solves that. Not the smallest of blokes as well, just needs to work on his defence and he’d be the perfect lock imo

No. Should be a starting centre for the Tigers.

Hopefully you haven't just realised that now 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, I think he should be given first crack at right centre. He's wasted on the wing and seems to be able to hit a hole better on the right side.

I dont think Cam Smith will retire he will go around 1 more year therefore Harry Grant will be fair game we need to lock him in for a big contract

I agree. I don't think Smith will retire until next year which ties him into Bellamy's last year then the both will go to the Broncos with Smith as assistant coach and Bellamy to head of football.
It's just a theory but it makes sense

You are right, I do blame the coach, he shouldn’t have been picking Benji to start with, that just exacerbated the problem we already had

If grant was that loyal and stayed put, I'd make a play for Brandon Smith....that kid is a gun and would be great around the clubhouse

In the field results will be the main factor to rehabilitating our reputation as a club.

This was evidenced by the Titans winning a few more games that expected.

If the Tigers show that they are building up a strong culture then players will take us seriously.

Agree OzLuke Target Brandon Smith or Grant both are upgrades on what we have and winners with that right attitude

Why would you believe anything the DT say? They're still trying to work out the definition of truth.

regardless of how horrendous the telegraph may be, I think Suaalii will end up at the rorters, irrespective of whether or not it's the right fit.

He wanted the 1 or 6 jumper, no chance at the chooks, just like Suali, unless they chop Teddy or Keary
