If reports are true that our chairman said that Mansour is not coming and a Roberts deal is not close, then things are turning for the better at our club.

We don’t need an elderly winger (even if Penrith pay some freight). He can stay at the mountains and they can pay his full fare.

I was thinking about a Roberts/Leilua centre pairing and all the on field fights they would have, lol.

People saying Roberts would be great if cheap but I can’t see him settling here or anywhere atm.

I found xerri was particularly quite fit, the fastest he’s ever been one could say

In order for us to become a top four squad what are people’s thoughts for who we need to pick up over the next season or 2?

Utter trash. Has got hands like a digital watch, and never uses arms in the tackle.

I heard his interview. He didn't say anything about a Roberts deal not being close. He was effusive in his praise for Roberts and dropped that there would be an exciting announcement about an outside back/s shortly..

This may just be Nofo re-signing or possibly the Penrith lad.

He also didn't say Mansour isn't coming. What he actually said is that negotiations have reached an impasse. I'm interpreting that as Mansour over pricing himself. That's all part of negotiating a deal. I wouldn't write it off yet.

He said we had plenty of outside backs and that they are hopeful of enhancing them, and we should be able to expect good news soon. With the outside backs coming out of contract in 21, it would be among talau, zac cini, will kei and nofa I believe

I don't disagree. But that's why we have coaches and pre season training. The raw talent is there.
