Rumour Talau to Manly, don't know how true this is.

A lot of the western suburb boys are going there do they even have a junior base

Who's gone there?

A lot of Westfield boys

Shuster
The 9 that banned
The centre who was with us
The winger from saints

Probably few more bad with names

Agree with all your comments, and as i said along with others i have hope. But to be realistic to think that all of these problems will be fixed next year is stretching common sense.Ive said repeatedly that recruitment has been good and not many quality players around in those positions.I expect they are guarding the dollars for 2022 key players, and they will nurse the side this year hoping for the 8 .

There's some names for you.

Every team has stars, solid first graders and some players of unknown quality because of injuries, dramas or inexperience. We have a lot of unknowns this year, some will do better than expected, some will do worse, but as they are on short contract or have club options so they can be upgraded or moved on depending on how they go.
2021 will succeed or fail based on the unknowns, which is far better than where we were at the start of the off season.

I think we should offer Brandon Elliot a 1 year contract he is a great utility and always tries his hardest

Compare this suggestion with the Storm who will likely replace JAC with Xavier Coates. Seriously until we can get to that level in recruiting we will always be an also ran.

Still yet to see the hype about Coates, scored a screamer of a try in origin, but was largely non existent just like his season with the broncos.

Yeah unless it was a high ball ..he didn't offer heaps coming out of the backfield ...but that body will get bigger with another off season

Honestly we need to be going hard after Angus Crichton. Forget Mansour etc.
A right edge of Douehi, Crichton, Roberts and Nofa would be top 4 stuff

Agree, Rorters don't let many good ones go though. Jayden Sua / Hudson Young more realistic choices. Both off-contract 2022, throw 650 at Jayden and 500 at Hudson, 3 plus 1 year in the club's favour with incentives. Both are young and are footballers, clubs won/t want to lose them but money talks.

I wouldn't offer either anywhere near those figures, although I don't doubt we could get them if we threw that kind of money around...

Bellamy will fine tune him for sure if he gets a hold of him

I think we would get better value for money with Hudson Young than Sua .....I'd love Angus Crichton but I reckon he will push 900 k

I feel as if that doesn't do us any favours. Luc is just as good as them if not better. If we don't go after huge names like Crichton we should be going after young, cheap talent. Paying mid tier players big money is where this club keeps going wrong. The Roosters and the Storm are just a team of superstars and then very low wage players who play way above their salary. That's the key to winning

Am I the only one somewhat hoping we can get Xavier Coates to tigers? He has a special talent and is lightning quick !! I don’t know if the club is even considering chasing him but I think he would be a great addition! If the club is considering josh mansour and I know some people on here are also, surely we can all agree Xavier would be a much better option?
Sorry just re read through this post people have already spoke about it, sorry

He may be ..but depends on the $$$$ ...Mansour is a NO pure and simple as that ...his best football was at least 3 years ago

Agree with what you are saying and I'm not saying get both. But I do think either will be exceptional players and their next contract will be their first opportunity at a decent contract. Get in early before they become the next Angus...

I agree mate ay!! I honestly think Coates will be a superstar he has speed to burn and truly knows how to score a try! I get he hasn’t really shown his true potential but he was in a Brisbane squad that failed in every aspect last season, it’s hard to be a shinning star when the weather is miserable so to speak!!

Coates, Gebbie and Olam highlights the talent in PNG. Hopefully we have a scout in Port Moresby.

We need a really strong year, otherwise, it won't matter how much money we have!

I guess living in Qld you see so many wingers at the Broncos who have disappeared after a season or two that looked great Year 1
