At this point in time Mbye is first choice fullback. We don’t really have anyone else who can play that role besides Doueihi and he’s out 5/8. It’s a bit of a worry that we don’t have much depth there, Mbye has had a lot of knee issues.

Our spine on paper is the worst in the NRL, find me a worse one

Bulldogs, Titans, Dragons, Warriors...

Brimson is a beast

Yep but their halves are still hit and miss and they have no DH.

Dunno ..... really rate Jamil Fogarty

The optomism i felt at the recruitment in the forwards has ebbed a little. We still need a quality FB ,our centres don;t have conracts for 22(that should tell you something). Our wingers suspect..Our halves suspect. So next year is a lot of hope, but logic says it will be a tough year.If you think Madge will do it tough,so will recruitment staff. We may have to buy or upgrade as many as six positions in the backline for 2022.

Pretty sure we gave BJ a 3 year deal but the last year totally in our favour (aka if he performs well in 2021 we can activate it)

Same thing with roberts, except only 2 years. Very smart contract negotiating for 2 inconsistent but deadly players when they’re on song

Fogarty is a talent as well

But i do agree, no hooker and taylor is a miss

If they get brandon smith...genuine premier threat 2021

You are hard to please, but we need to remember that the players we still need aren't walking the street waiting to be signed, I think our process has been sound to date and frankly don't see it changing anytime soon.

BJ was a 2 Year deal with the 2nd year (2021) being a Club Option - He is playing for a contract this season.

Roberts 2 year deal with Club Option in 2022 - Madge knows we don't have depth there unless players perform that is why Mybe was there as a fill in last year.

We have Momo / Talau as well as back up i think throughout the year all 4 will be used better options that last year and also some can play Wing.

BJ's deal was 3 years, he has already played a yer for us, 2022 is the clubs option.

Ok I thought it was 2 years stand corrected then.
He is still playing for a contract this year if it's a Club Option.

I think we should offer Brandon Elliot a 1 year contract he is a great utility and always tries his hardest

Hes a solid backup. It’s a worry that we don’t have a backup fullback besides using Doueihi, but I would much rather keep him at 5/8 every week.

I have faith in AJ and Talau at the very least to become solid FGers.Saw enough of both last year, and they are both young with lots of room for growth. The forwards are the key . They hold their own and our backline has plenty of strike and there will be competition for positions. All a bit unknown at this point but strangely optimistic.

3 years for Leilua...

Later as explained as 2 years with Club option for 2022..

Compare this suggestion with the Storm who will likely replace JAC with Xavier Coates. Seriously until we can get to that level in recruiting we will always be an also ran.

I hear ya but you cant fix it all in one day. We havent had a proper engine room in a very long time. Everybody always says our backs will be better when the forwards aim up. Well i feel like we have a vastly improved forward pack in both size aggression and stats so we will see now.
Backs are probably the next overhall

Agree. A rep quality second rower and fullback and we are in the mix for the eight.
