Yes he’s been spoken about internally before, Madge is a big fan after working with him in the NZ Camp, thinks he could be something very special & Issako is a fan of Madge.

Thanks ...I'd heard a few ruffles up here about Isaako and the WT's and tried to drop a few baits in the water to see if anyone else had heard the same .....

In my opinion either him or Jake Turbo are the missing piece that would make us top 8 maybe top 4. Leadership, defence, mental toughness, will to win. All boxes ticked. ✅

Jake Trjobevic is a step up on Finucane ...he can ball play at or before the line ...that is a massive advantage


The only way he or his brother will ever leave Manly is if they get 2-3 years of the spoon.It is not a money thing with either of them

And we will probably never get within cooee of signing either


Ehhh you reckon? I'd take Murray or Radley over either of those two, and we are no chance of signing them aswell

Nah Jake has a huge set of kahunas ...he'd kill his entire family just to jump on a loose ball ....the other two are pretty boys

Mate radley plays 10kg above his weight. I've seen him drop Tapau front on and Tapau would have 15-20kgs on him easily

Agree on Jurbo but he looks lost without his bro...had a quiet season by his standards imo

Jake T definitely had a down year. Was ball playing too much which often didn't lead to much and his running game seemed less effective. Don't get me wrong he's a good player but there's quite a few better locks in the Nrl I reckon

I thought the problem was he got really worked over defensively and his attack got blunted ..which when you take Tommy away as well didn't help .....throw in the fact we had a stop start season didn't help him

The main reason he struggled was because they lost there hooker api koroisau he is unbelievable at keeping the ruck guessing just look what he did for penrith

It was knocked back late last year partly because of a personal issue with Isaako, i heard the Tigers are keen on a young back rower not part of a swap.

The ruck has been our Achilles heal for yonks. We usually have a smaller, less physical pack and we don’t get as many quick play the balls because we get gang tackled all the time. This has happened for so long I actually believe the refs have a pre-conceived idea about our ruck speed. They ref to the perception. On the other side, we aren’t great at the wrestle and give away a lot of late tackle penalties for lying too long. This is one of the reasons I bang on so much about needing to upgrade in the back row. We are up against certain teams who are masters at ruck control and it’s no fluke they get the trophies.

Also the depth we would carry in our centres and wing positions would be very healthy for our team
Isaako would also be able to fill in at Fullback if required
Would be a great move by the club in my opinion

Not unless they get a decent player in return
Maybe someone like Mbye
But if that were to happen we would need to pick up a large portion of Mbyes contract

Isaako is a dynamic finisher and his stats for 2018 and 2019 back that up.

And his goal kicking percentages are way up there too.

Massive upside.

I wouldnt get to cocky Mike,if Laurie doesnt get up to the level required to play fb in NRL quickly enough we will be glad to have Mbye in the position,no matter how much you dislike him he can do a job for us this year...

But will he do the job though? So disappointed with Mbye, I hope he has a great season but my expectation is he won’t.
