Why would we want Isaako? He's not that great (was dropped last year I believe) and like everyone said regarding Mansour, it would just mean younger wingers want to look elsewhere as they'll be kept out of playing NRL.
Talau, Kepoa and Hoffman are all perfectly capable and will improve over time.

He is 24 and a winger.
Talau isn’t a winger, Hoffman isn’t capable and Kepoa is the only one that might be.
No one in our team is a quality goal kicker either which Issako is.

Gotta say, I don't know much about him, just looked at his profile for last year, kicked 16 goal at a 72.7% success?

Though, they also say he is a goal machine? The numbers don't seem to stack though?

2020 was a poor year from him for multiple reasons. He is a lifetime 80% kicker.

Mbye prepared for Laurie's late push for No.1 jersey

Moses Mbye may have relinquished the captaincy at the Wests Tigers but the former skipper is unlikely to give up the fullback spot as easily after the club's luring of Panthers speedster Daine Laurie.

Laurie joined Mbye and the rest of his new teammates for a pre-season camp in Tamworth this week as the squad continues to build leading into their main trial game against the Sea Eagles on February 28.

After training in every backline and halves position last pre-season, Mbye has spent all his time on the training paddock at fullback leading into the side's 2021 campaign, a change that he hopes can bring cohesion to the side's spine.

Adam Doueihi's expected move to five-eighth and the signing of James Roberts in the centres has enabled Mbye to focus more on the No.1 jersey during the summer.

However, the addition of promising talent Laurie – who can play anywhere in the backline – will leave Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire with a final decision to make ahead of round one.

"You can never have too many quality players so he'll slot in well somewhere," Mbye told NRL.com of Laurie's arrival. "Daine is elusive and a strike player that can really upset teams. Sometimes [competition for places] can get a bit tricky but I enjoy it, I enjoy just playing footy and as a club we're trying to win some games this year.

"We're getting a little bit of depth around what we need to do. The signing of James Roberts is massive as well. We just need to do the hard work to use those sorts of guys. "I've trained every day at fullback and it feels good. I've put a lot of work into my body with rehab and I want to be in the thick of it and involved in a lot of play."

Part of Mbye's shift to the fullback role will revolve around his combination with new-look halves pairing of Luke Brooks and Doueihi, who will be available from round two after missing round one due to suspension. Brooks came under scrutiny at various times during last year's disrupted season, including being benched for the first time in his career by Maguire for a three-week period.

Mbye said the 2019 Dally M Halfback of the Year was showing no signs of last year's demons and was "due" to bounce back in 2021. "I actually thought Brooksy had a pretty good year but as a team we just didn't win the games to show for it," Mbye said. "He wasn't out of form for me, but losing games can knock your confidence around a little bit. "He's at that age now where he's experienced and it's probably the most of amount of pressure he'll be on this year, especially with Benji gone. "But I think he's really thriving on that and is due for a big year. He's displaying some quality leadership on the training paddock with the way he's been guiding the team around, it has been great. "I think it will be a big year for him and there's no reason it shouldn't be."

There's a write up on him today
Last year was tough year, including the passing of his father

Gosh, I’m not looking for excuses for the Broncos poor form last year, but when you drill into it, there were a lot of personal issues a few players were dealing with.
Must have been a miserable place to be?

How is Nathan Peats not signed for 2021?

Give him 2 years (one in our favour).

Desperately need him...

Peats hasn't been first grade quality for a number of years. At one point he was Titan's 3rd or 4th choice hooker last year.

For Peats sake
How can you even suggest that

wouldn't say we desperately need him, but I mean if we can sign him on next to nothing then it's not a bad idea, especially if Walters heads for the exits

We already have Liddle, Simpkins and Mbye as a last resort if need be. Peats would be lucky to make our CC team let alone first grade. Titan's had Rein, Boyd and Clark all ahead of him last year and I think they even would have used Peachey at 9 before Peats.

Summary:

Half combo unsure as yet. Said Madden had thrown a spanner in the works.

JTJ killing it and happy.

Laurie is exceptional and was good enough to force his way into the team at Penrith last year.

Hasn't been named captain, said there's a few guys who Maguire looks to for leadership.

The Original Post was a suggestion and certianly not a rumor...

Peats is gone and has been for ages and the Tigers have good coverage.

No More Has beens.

Definately dont need or want him, this is as bad an idea as the push for Lichaa last year by 1 person

Next Phase in recruitment is the next Marquee.

The Ponga, the David Fafita, Cotric and JAC (to a lesser extent) That kick starts the recruitment drive that sees other players take the WTs seriously and are prepared to play here for unders.

We need to land that guy next.

I'd be very happy if we could swap Walters for Isako, i'd do it in a heartbeat. I get what people are saying about Talau & Kepaoa and stifling their chances. But if they are good enough they can oust Isako then so be it, we could really use a very good kicker it could be the difference between 9th or 10th and well and truely within the 8.

If it can be done get it done Madge knows him from NZ camps knows what he's about healthy competition all teams should have that.

Very happy to hear about the Liddle, Luciano scuffle at training. Liddle is full of talent but always seemed a bit lacking in confidence. It's a good sign that he's ready to stand up.
